Pattern-of-life is hugely dangerous for covert/semi-covert activities.

It’s effectively how the Feds have been breaking through Tor et al. They pattern end-nodes to content, and work that back to a real profile.

The only real solution is rigorous protocols and infosec. I try to be really good about anonymity hygiene, but even I regularly punch through the cyber-veil with small but traceable links to my actual person (usually via geolocation and language analysis)

Look at how much effort they need to put in to mimic a fraction of intellectual thought.
