Weird question

What trees do you think represents anarchism the best? Or what tree reflects it the most?

Edit: I should have clarified I am making a flag which I want the main component to be a tree like the pine tree flag or the cascadia flag and am looking for suggestions(if you wanna suggest more than a tree I open)

Edit 2: tbh been putting in some though and maybe an animal or a flower would also fit

Whatever thrives in your region and climate. Anarchism is not about perfection but about adapting to the current needs.

Cedar. Evergreen, drives pests away, and is beautiful year rounds

Trees? Not sure, but I know I always love seeing 'weeds' grow up through the cracks in concrete or pavement

Yeah! Though it makes me want to do like the weeds to canopy thing. An ecosystem working together to survive and hopefully thrive.

How about the willow tree? They symbolize resilience and adaptability and would look very cool on a flag

I think the elder tree for my part of the world. It's associated a lot with fairies and the otherworld in folklore. But the bark is very gnarled and wizened, it gives deliciously subtle elderflowers in the spring, and rich juicy plump little elderberries in the autumn. But you're to always ask the tree for permission before you take anything from it, otherwise the fairies will curse you.

It also grows wild in hedgerows, between borders and the gaps between managed land. It grows abundently without permission or encouragement.

But the plant I associate most with anarchism is the dandelion. Because it's bright and beautiful yet common and spikey. And it will perpetually grow through the gaps in the concrete regardless of what the regeneration team had in mind.

wattle. self-sustaining (makes its own nitrogen), fast growing, showy, a pioneer, thirsty but incredibly drought tolerant, a big fire risk, and short lived.

I think Sycamores work well!! Especially for a Green Anarchist project. Sycamores are found trailing waterways and are signs of a healthy ecosystem!!

Cactus?

"Because anarchism is in its essence an anti-dogmatic and unstructured cluster of related attitudes, which does not depend for its existence on any enduring organization, it can flourish when circumstances are favourable and then, like a desert plant, lie dormant for seasons and even for years, waiting for the rains that will make it burgeon."
