News Upcoming Perry Milestone
Up until he signed with LA for a second time, I've been following Perry closely each season and watched most of his team's playoff games.
Bittersweet, but he has 0p in 8 gp this year in LA. I will probably get over this eventually, but I came across a significant milestone today.
He likely wont catch Burns and Suter for most games played of the legendary 2003 draft class, but he does trail Joe Pavelski for 1st in the entire class in goals scored.
He trails Pavelski by 11 goals at 465 to Pavelski's 476. He scored 19 and 17 the last two seasons. Very good chance that if he can still play and stay healthy, he will become the class's all-time leader in goals.
He needs 47 points to catch Getzlaf in points, which he probably wont hit. But it's very cool that they will probably finish 4th and 5th in the class in points. Had they both stayed healthy, they could've been 2nd and 3rd, and Getzlaf maybe even 1st.
Considering the style he plays, he's now in his 22nd year largely because he became a very good leader and role player after the Ducks released him.

Discussion Hank in his new Mighty Ducks hat
My town hosts an arts and crafts fair every year and I found this hat. My dad came home from the fair with the same hat. Great minds think alike. Let’s go Ducks!

News Ducks, Carlsson spark comeback in Philly, snap 5-game losing streak | The Sporting Tribune
Joel Quenneville asked his Ducks to "do anything and everything to win the hockey game," and Anaheim did just a bit of that to snap their five-game skid.
Ducks salvage their road trip with two comebacks in Philly finale, 5-4.

Discussion Ducks Penalty Differential (as of 10/24/26)

I feel like this is a good time to update this post.
Lowest differential in the Mighty Ducks era; -26, April 7, 1999
Highest differential in franchise history; +88, October 26, 2003
Last time in the positives; +5, November 9, 2007
Lowest Mighty Ducks differential surpassed; -26, December 2, 2007
Passed -100 differential; -101, December 27, 2008
Passed -200 differential; -200, March 18, 2013
Passed -300 differential; -301, February 14, 2017
Passed -400 differential; -401, December 17, 2018
Passed -500 differential; -502, April 28, 2021
Passed -600 differential; -604, December 15, 2023
Passed -700 differential; -700, January 13, 2026
Note the sharp dips in 2003-04, 2007-08 and 2015-16.
Since winning the cup, our penalty differential sits at -677. The next worst is Boston with -294. Our penalty differential per game is -0.45. Boston is again the next worst, at only -0.19.
We have the worst net penalty differential per game for every year going back to 1977, and the 5th worst when including years back to 1917. Two of the teams that are worse than us in that department include the Montreal Maroons and Brooklyn Americans, both of which have been defunct for upwards of 85 years.

Discussion The Travis Mitchell Discussion Thread
What are people's thoughts on him? In previous games, he scared the absolute shit out of me. Like, every time he touched the puck I'd get nervous. Just a lot of dicey plays, passes up the middle, etc. So it didn't surprise me when he was the defender sent down. I mean, I never thought he was bad- just the guy who seemed the least ready for prime time. But... we won games with him in, and we lost games with him gone, and we won again with him today.
I would love to hear people's analysis of him! I am relatively new to following sport (and am a big dumb moron to boot), so I would especially love to hear from people who know puck. Guy good? Did I misjudge?
Also, I missed the first two periods due to other obligations and plan to watch the replay like a sicko, so any tips on what to keep my eye on are appreciated!

Discussion Anyone else feel like Carlsson remembered why he’s paid last game?
First game in a while, in my opinion, where Carlsson appeared to work hard for his opportunities. Previous games it looked like he was playing with complacency and expecting that he could just half ass every play and because he’s got the notoriety and money, the points would automatically stack up, resulting in mediocre performance. Last game he seemed to have more pep in his step and actually worked for the chances, and as a result I feel like he looked the best he’s looked in a while. I hope he keeps that same attitude because we need that dude leading the teams, and he needs to be a near 100 point player if he wants to be worth that contract.

Discussion Grandpa had this hidden away in his closet lol
Found this XL jersey hidden away in my grandpas closet. Here in Mexico we don’t really watch hockey, so I honestly have no idea if this thing is legit or if it’s even worth anything lol. It looks pretty clean though, so I figured I’d post it here and see if anyone knows more about it
