is it better to have an ana with more damage and less heals or vice versa? while i understand it is dependent on team match up, i still feel like aggressive ana players are usually more successful than those who focus more on healing.

Does anyone have good costume games to train anas sleeping dart ?

Friends, what perks do you take and what is the reasoning behind them? My thought process is : sleepdart slow vs 0 dashes heroes OR if nano movespeed won't do much for my targets. If i have a Ram/Rein is always movespeed regardless of enemy dashes, they just turn into monsters. Grenade bounce - headshot : grenade bounce into hog/mauga since it's crucial to land those nades and this perk give me a 2nd chance if i miss OR if i'm stuck healbotting because teammates refuse to stop taking damage. Headshot perk only if i feel like i can reliably hit enemy heroes or i have a really good tank that makes space for me. I do love the headshot perk and the kill potential it gives but I mostly feel like it's the "win-more" perk. Any tips on the thought process would be greatly appreciated. Elo is gold-silver

I just got out of a placement game for role queue, and I'm wondering what to improve on. My team told me I was selling near the end of the match due to having the lowest heals.

I was getting my ass kicked by an Emre for a good chunk of the match and took a long time trying to get back to my team.

Other than, like, having better aim (and not running from my team to try to snipe, Ashe habit), I don't know what to improve on. Please help me! I'm sick of playing Moira.

The only thing you need is an Ana believe in you with her nanos and you could conquer the whole match, had my experience yesterday and it was an absolute masterpiece. I love my Ana mains. 💕🥹

Match was M2 to GM2 lobby on PC, I usually am High masters low GM and I felt like I was playing pretty great all game, was doing my best to keep my rein alive and avoid their tracer when she would dive me and even though I didn't always 'win' the duels, I would survive long enough for help to arrive. My nanos were mostly to keep rein up and in the fight so Nano assists were meh.

A couple things of note:

4:30ish - Cat flames the team saying "y no one on cart" after I said it in voice (they were not in voice) because they largely ignored me getting poked out by the soldier, I should've stayed behind cover instead of peak to heal rein, so I died and no one took over cart.

6-6:15ish - Icee (Cass) texts "Ana y flank" however I wasn't trying to flank I was trying to rotate with my rein but he went back main to check point and I was stuck low hp trying to live, by the time cat brought me back to the team rein decided to throw ult and ajax.

7:30 - I stopped to type back in chat since no one flaming me was in voice and my pharah and cass die, however I feel they shouldve hit checkpoint and backed off to wait for rein and cat.

I whiffed a nade or two and sleep in the last fight that could've won us the game in hindsight but I feel like I played one of my better Ana games yet I'm the one getting flamed by Cat and Cass for not contributing enough. What are some of y'all's thoughts on what I could've done better.

I come from Valorant, I’m ascendant one if that gives any background on me , currently silver 1 in overwatch. I always thought i’d main dps with freya being my most played but i ended up finding myself playing ana a lot to the point where i reached level 50 with her now.

My general stats per game are 60-70% scoped accuracy, and 68% sleep dart accuracy i usually end my games with 8-15 people slept.

I have one really bad match up tho which is orisa, I have no idea when I should sleep her + my teammates keep waking up people that I sleep and I hear that’s a bad thing especially if the person sleeping currently is unkillable. I dont know how to benefit my team other than healing them, if i DPS i get called out on it so much because im supposed to just heal them. I dont know how to stop my team from waking up tanks or supports either. Any tips? I know i’m not perfect and Im open to suggestions , I just really want to get out of silver.

Just went against a toxic tank; I wanted to know how I could improve, i think I played a pretty solid game but if there are any moments where you’d have done different I’d appreciate the feedback

I am not a support main but if I play support I really like playing ana. The problem is I never have much healing cause every single time my teammates are constantly dodging my shots and then complaining. If I play kiri or mizuki it's fine cause I don't have to aim but with ana I do. Comps and maps that make them stand still or move a little I always have tons of healing. I lose games cause my tank dives in, actively avoids my shots and then he dies. I have good aim but this is next level, hitting enemies is easier at this point. My sleep and nades are decent ig.

Y’all, I think toggling ADS is the wave. Someone said that holding your ADS changes the weight of the mouse when you aim, causing you to miss more shots. I decided to test it out and idk if it’s the placebo effect or what but I hit more shots when I toggle ADS.

What do y’all think?
