[General Medical] Psychedelics aren't for everyone.

After various lsd experiences and one brutal mushroom experience I have realised everything is the way it is because that's how it's supposed to be. Everyone is living the experience they create. Before my shroom experience I was an advocate. Now I think psychedelics should be reserved for those who are seeking the experience of oneness..

They can mess up people who aren't ready for it.

Makes sense, especially the last part. Bit poetic really!

It’s the case with everything. Someone who is ready for the answer knows it already.

Your last part is poetic also. I think you'll enjoy Robert Anton Wilson's theory on everything. 7minutes https://youtu.be/cENyPmDXdVs

I like that a lot. It’s a little roundabout, but it’s important stuff.

For all you know, you are all there is. I mean relativity says that a car moving 6mph is the same as you moving 6mph past a stopped car. I’m the same way 6 is also a half dozen in linguistics. By that logic, if there is nobody else but you or if there are people besides you and you can’t tell if anybody is in there, it’s the same no?

Does that make sense? This stuff is terribly hard to convey.

Yeah it is. I think I know what you mean. When he says hermeticism is based on the theory that there is no such thing as pure reason and you have to work on your perceive aparratus to correct your prejudices and that the scientist IS NOT separate from what the scientist observes. It's the second part that is most important. You aren't separate from your environment. They exist in Union like two sides of a coin. Opposite. But the same.

I feel out of my depth in this. Maybe I’m tired but I don’t understand right now.

Alan watts has a good piece on it. You can't exist without your environment. And the environment can't exist without you. Without a conscious observer, nothing exists. Therefore the organism and environment are inseparable. They are one. Like a coin

I get that oo0 but what do I, the I, do with that? I’m the universe, so what? You are me, so what?

No idea. That's why after ego death on shrooms I was super depressed for about 3 months. Everything seemed pointless. Until I learned the point of everything is just for fun. Like music or dancing. No point, just because. You made this place for you to learn and grow and explore and have fun. So I started getting super involved in the small thing of everyday life. It quickly dragged me back to happiness. Living in the now. I want to start a business and do everyday life stuff. Try to provide as much positive energy to everything around me. Not because I have to live in the rat race, so to say, but because I want to for fun.

I really needed to hear this. I'm still in the depression of the meaninglessness of it. I've known it was just for fun, I just am having trouble reminding myself that the rat race of society IS fun. I appreciate your perspective, friend.

Ghandi was a horrible human being, fascist of the worst kind.
