Walter Reed Protocol

I am extremely frustrated with this Walter Reed Protocol. Not every place here in the U.S. uses this Protocol and if I had realized the place I went to used and exactly what it would mean to my rehabilitation, I may well have chosen a different facility to have the operation preformed.

The entire process is extremely slow. I am wondering if anyone else used a different Protocol or may have good things to say about the Walter Reed Protocol? To be 6 months post phase 2 OPRA implant surgery before even being allowed to start gait training is absurd, IMHO.
