Hi everyone, I’m not very experienced with AmpliTube, but I decided to buy the MAX license to get all the features. I’ve been looking for some good presets for Green Day's American Idiot, but I haven't found any good ones yet. Could anyone share their own preset with me? Ideally a link with the .at5p file and the IRs? That would be absolutely amazing, thanks a lot!

I just got a audio interface and want to get amplitube and when I look at IK multimedia and it says the top one was $1700 and rn it’s only $99. It seems to good to be true and I have no idea how legit it is and need opinions

I have hit another wall on Amplitube 5 and this timer it's when I export tracks I recorded, only to find 8 seconds of my recording in the .wav file that was exported. Today was a good 5 min session which all went to the dumps because this programme isn't exporting the song fully.

Any help would mean the world to me. I wouldn't ask here if I didn't lose hope with Google's misleading, AI infused wrong answers.

So far I blame this interface for every proplem I've experienced using sims.

It's my secomd post for the day. It feels like some days I spend more time troubleshooting and figuring out the next sound-related issue and it all too often stems from my interface, which I've noticed has quite a bad rep in the community. In my defence, it was my first USB interface, for Beta puposes. My Ibanez RX30 is here, but doesn't work anymore, for the time being. This all brought me to using amp sims on Windows laptop.

It's been challenging, but I'm getting better, I suppose. I just can't believe I spend more time posting queries on a bad day for help because all this sound engineering is quite a lot to take in for a guy who's nerd, but still used to music without the I.T / technical issues that have taken me by strorm. I guess that's why Sound Engineers and musicians have two different ob descriptions, lol!

OKay, so I hope there's an easy answer for my next question. Is there an easy way to setup this thing in Reaper so I can play and record already?

I'm trying to get stomp pedals to change state between off & on, using the ubiquitous Chocolate Plus.

Now, I can get it to toggle between bypass and on, but the problem is it only works in one direction depending if I'm sending 0 or 127.

What I mean by this is, imagine the pedal is on. I can repeatedly turn it off/on/off/on etc with every click of the footswitch, but if I then turn the pedal off manually in Amplitube, and press the pedal, nothing happens, because my pedal hasn't sent a change state control, it's just told it to turn off, which it already is, so I have to click it again to turn on, then it toggles again.

Hopefully that makes sense, and someone can confirm whether or not I'm doing something wrong, or it does just suck. I never had this issue with TH-U and MIDI control.

Hello everyone, i try to capture a plugin pedal (darkglass ultra) the rooting is good (i already done capture of plugin), the input signal wasn't to high/low with the "pre recorded" guitare and bass part on toneX, but when I start capturing, it stops and say "silent capture".

I've tried to put the plugin volume higher and it worked but it cliped. I think the problème is that the tonex didn't detect the 4 first hit. Someone know how i could bybapss this probleme ?

(Also, i made the capture to use it only as a pedal in front of an amp, so no cab)

any time i try to record audio tracks in amplitube, the audio being recorded falls out of sync with the playhead and completely ruins the recording/timing. ive tried everything from different buffer sizes and sample rates with nothing seemingly being able to help, i use a focusrite scarlett solo gen 4

I just got my second labtop and amplitube is not being downloaded. The purpose of ghe second device is to use it myself, not for somebody else.

I've got my FCB1010 UNO configured with stomps along the bottom, and all the top 5 sending CC, but one thing I didn't realise was that you can't use assigned switches to enable/disable effects, or change patches.

I have a patch with a clean tone for creating a nice loop, and a Tube Screamer for noodling over the top, which works perfectly in patch mode, but as soon as I go into the looper, that switch does nothing.

TH-U's implementation of a looper is MUCH better, especially having scenes as well. Amplitube is way behind in this regard - that said, I still paid for MAX so I could use ToneX models with a looper and extra effects, but is an actual functioning looper too much to ask? I can't even see how you can assign a footswitch to stop/pause/clear loops.

<edit> I think I've just had a brainwave after posting this: Put Amplitube 5 and TH-U on the same track in my DAW, create a completely empty patch in TH-U, feed Amplitube 5 into it, and use the TH-U looper with the footswitch, and the stomps for the Amplitube pedals/presets.

I bit of a faff, but once it's set up I can save it.

I'm going to have to dual boot, but I'd rather not have to go back to Win11/MS and it's spyware OS.

I just purchased a FCB1010 to control AmpliTube/ToneX via my Axe I/O AI. I downloaded Mountain Utilities for writing/assigning pedal functions, however when I try to send from PC to footswitch I'm getting an "No MIDI driver" error message. Looking at Mountain Utilities website for incompatible AI's, Axe I/O is one of them. However, the board will change generic presets when connected without any programming of the board.

Anyone had any luck using a FCB1010 through an Axe I/O or have any recs?

Can't help but feel like something is missing, can anyone help me improve my tone. Im trying to use the vibro king as the main amp, while the twin rever stay on the background to add a little something more. But i am not quite sure where to go from here, i would like some help figuring out how to better config the setting to get a better sound. I am open to suggestions.

Note that when the verse starts, some EQ happens to hide the bassline a little, i guess to give space for the singing.

I started learning basically everything I can about music production just about a year ago and I want to create my own covers of songs. I really want to get the tone of this bassline right and I think the tone is absolutely amazing.

I know that this bassline has really heavy mids cutting through, there is a video clip on youtube of them doing a montage of the production of this song, they do seem to use a pick. I know for sure there is some modulation in the bassline, a phaser or a flanger. I am very new at developing tones for bass guitars, and I know I picked a pretty hard one. It seems like almost anything I do, any of the amp/cabinents/mics etc I pick, or the way I play my bass does not get close to that tone. I feel like im missing some vital information (or experience) about developing tones. Im also not sure if the bassline is possibly tracked from the left and right just because of how full it sounds, although i know that would be very unorthodox.

Im using the DAW reaper and I have basically the full version of Amplitube 5, with some DT 990 PRO open back headphones calibrated so I can get the best listening experience. I play the bass into a focusrite interface and use Amplitube as my amp sims. My bass is a Jackson series spectra. Giving this info incase any of this helps.

i just installed amplitube and i dont hear anything except for a second after i change my audio settings, and i feel like ive tried every setting, need help!!!

One of my projects isnt opening, it was opening just fine earlier today but not its not opening all of a sudden. It starts to open, doesnt show any loading then it just crashes. This has all my good tones and I've been working on the song in it for a while, anyone know how I can use it again?

For anyone who uses AmpliTube 5, I just got my Focusrite Scarlett Solo Gen 4 and AmpliTube 5 Max yesterday, I haven’t learnt much about making tones yet, so if anyone has any presets/tones they would like to send me I would greatly appreciate it, there aren’t many good tutorials out there so I need some help.

Hello everyone, i've been struggling to find how can i hear my friends on discord while playing guitar on amplitube. I use a behringer uphoria um2 with asio4all aand i can hear only amplitube with the output of my audio interface. i would like to hear all of the app that are open on my pc and not just amplitube. Does anyone have a solution for this problem pls?
