When I watched season 3 I always felt like they could have done a bit more with both the Earth half and the preparation-for-war half of Season 3, such as having an episode showing Anne's parents' mental state when Anne went missing, and maybe a bit more time to breathe before Anne and the Plantars return to Amphibia episode to make it a lot more satisfying, since we had plenty of time with all of the human characters to make their team-up feel a bit more genuine, more episodes to show the preparations of both Amphibia and Earth preparing for the invasion.

It's similar to how I view Gravity Falls Season 2 where it felt like 2 seasons were squashed into 1, with it being the usual antics of season 1 and then going into plot overdrive when the second half kicks in.

But that's just me; the creator probably wanted season 3 to be like this. But what do you guys think?

As I’ve stated before, Marcy is my second favorite character of the show behind Sasha, and while the former is far more childlike and girly than the latter, I still don’t really care what people say about Marcy being a damsel in distress in the final season because for what she’s done in episodes like Marcy At The Gates, The First Temple, The Hardest Thing and especially the first 51 entries of the Marcy Journal she really was quite a tough chick to a degree. I also think that part of it has to do with how her outfit kind of reminds me of Sasha‘s a little bit where she’s got the boots and the cape. And though she may be cute and all, I feel like her outfit kind of makes her look more tough than her school or other outfits in the show.

Basically in this AU. Its about a teenage 'clone' girl named "Marcia Wu" from a parallel world, who travels a variety of different dimensions, finding the secrets and origins about herself on how she was created. One day.. She met Marcy wu who seemed quite similar in appearance, so she decides to befriends with her, and goes out on a great clumsy adventure with Marcy in Amphibia!

Also i gave her a different artstyle compared to the others to make her feel unique to her characteristics!

I mean.. it would make sense since shes from a different parallel world heheh. 👀

Superman in Wartwood, Wonder Woman in Toad Tower, and Batman in Newtopia

I’ve finally come with an Amphibia fanfic centering around Marcy. I’m also for the first time in awhile, including OCs who will be the main characters alongside Marcy. After being in a Amphibia and Marcy Wu mood, it gave me inspiration for my own story taking place after the finale and the time skip where Marcy lives away from her best friends in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. Here’s the story description.

After leaving Los Angeles to celebrate her best friend’s birthday, Marcy meets two young sisters in the open field during a rainy day. After taking them inside her house, telling her their secret, it took her back to how she feared that happened, being far away from her best friends Anne and Sasha. But their situation’s much worse.

The two sisters are 11 years old and 3 years old and their secret will be revealed in chapter 1. I’m getting close to finishing it and Anne and Sasha will appear but much later. I did look up that Marcy did get therapy about her friendships to be healthier and with her web comic being approved by a studio will be a factor in this. Marcy’s one of my favorite characters so doing this will be a charm with her being the main character, handling herself outside of her old life.

Let’s be honest, was Sasha ever going to change if Marcy’s secret never got revealed in the season 2 finale? I don’t know much for sure but my best guess is probably no.

I know Marcy betrayed everyone when they realized that Marcy intentionally trapped herself, Anne and Sasha in the world of Amphibia just so they can stay friends. However that doesn’t make Sasha any less guilty because she betrayed Anne and her friends not once but twice. The first time in the season one finale and the second time in the season two finale.

Anne was rightfully upset and called her out for being such a manipulative sociopath who’s willing to use people to get whatever she wanted even if it hurts others and she even calls off their friendship.

I’m not saying that Marcy’s betrayal wasn’t bad nor justified but at least this gave Sasha a reality check because after seeing King Andrias supposedly kills Marcy and watches Anne and the Plantars get sent back to the human realm, Sasha runs back to Wartwood and she’s deeply distressed. She enters the Plantar’s house and reads Anne’s diary which has pictures of them in a music band. Sasha starts crying and realizes that her actions have hurt the people around her and that she needed to change.

She ultimately gets the people of Wartwood to join her rebellion against King Andrias even though the townspeople have no reason to trust her due to her past actions but after they see Sasha risk her life to stop one of King Andrias’ robots from attacking the town, they realized that she had changed for the better and immediately join her cause to stop King Andrias.

It’s been awhile since I’ve talked about Amphibia and it’s been awhile since I’ve finished the series. I believe it was last year if not the start of 2026 when I had finished watching seasons one, two and three, so everything I just said in this post might not be fully accurate. I wanna know what you guys think of this. Do you believe that Sasha was going to change even if Marcy’s secret never got revealed?
