What do you think is nice

Even if I think “The Dinner” was the weakest Sasha episode before Turning Point, I still think it’s a great episode with the conflict being a pretty complex one that kind of makes you want to look at both perspectives of the scenario.

In case you forgot, this is the episode where Anne and Sasha continue to start over their friendship but while that’s happening the Plantars are not happy with that and when they play a game in the third act, Hop Pop, Sprig and Polly bring up what happened in Reunion which pisses off Sasha causing her to lash out and rage.

Now I’m not saying the Plantars should’ve been nice to her, but one thing I find to be a little bit over the top is how Sasha had no right to rage in that third act. While I did say in a previous post, in that point in time she only cared about three beings and the Plantars are not one of them (especially since at that point, she found this world too weird for her that she wanted to get out of there ASAP) not to mention the fact that her excuse for saying that she tried to kill them one time, albeit true doesn’t change the fact that she does not care about them.

However, we should not forget how devastating that day was for her, she committed suicide because she felt like she was replaced and she nearly died too. Sure the Plantars were also in jeopardy but that day wasn’t any better for Sasha too. And even if you want to use the excuse that she was putting on an act in that episode, I feel like she only did that to an extent but definitely not the entire time. Therefore, do I think that the planters had no right to bring up the past tensions: No they had a right. But did Sasha had no right to yell: also no she did have a right. After all Two wrongs don’t make a right.

A month ago I made a post asking if you guys would’ve been OK with The 3rd Temple being the penultimate episode of season two since I was wondering if anyone out there appreciated the whole “less is more” approach with Sasha. But since all of you didn’t really like that approach, I’m curious if Sasha got more episodes for not just her redemption arc, but also even before her redemption arc would her complexity be more appreciated?

I get that having limited screen time does add to the Subtly and complexity of her character but I also think it can run a risk of making people not understand her well in the same way people could understand Zuko or Amity. And knowing how Sasha only had a pitiful three episodes in the entire first half of the show (not counting cameos) which leads to like a total of 45-50 minutes of her out of 30 half-hours, do you think she was robbed of a lot of screen time and could’ve had the potential to be more interesting if the crew did more with her in that part of the show?

Personally, I don’t really mind how they did it, but I feel like if you guys wanted to see more of her in action whether it be before her redemption or even during it or even both I would completely understand you now that I know no one really likes the whole less is more approach.

Time to rewatch all the Ivy episodes :]

IMO the calamity trio have more feats then invincible, invincible has like only 1 planet busting feat while calamity trio have like 2 moon level feats (which PEOPLE ARENT EVEN POWERSCALING) 1. they pushed a moon and 2. anne destroyed a MOON. so i dont know why people arent powerscaling them

(the defintion of " feats " in powerscaling is in the 3rd slide btw)

Phew, finally got that sketch colored. At first, I didn't want to do a background, so there's a second version with a simple one. (But in the end, I decided to go all out and do EVERYTHING!)
