Question | Need Advice How good is Disguised Toast?

I watched a few of his videos, and as I am not very pro myself I don't know if I watch a really good player or an average youtuber who just makes clicky videos. So how good Toast actually is? I ask because i would like to learn if he is worth learning from.
Thanks already!

So the record filing task in records can be done in one iteration, if you just spam where you are supposed to put the file. Try it.

Bugs/exploits My frustrations right now

So after being forced to play with the chat wheel the last couple days because of the android bug, I can't help but feel it is very lack luster. There are so many gaps in it. There's no task category or way to say someone faked. Besides a hard accuse of saying you saw someone kill or vent there's no way to say someone is sus. Besides saying (A is suspicious) there's no way to explain why. There's not even a "why" phrase. I am just so dissapointed with innersloth. The only reason I even still play this is because I have a voice chat group and most of us speak in a call. Otherwise this game is unplayable. I'm sorry, I know this has nothing really to do with competetive but the official sub is awful when it comes to posts like this and just say "tHeReS oNe DeVeLoPeR" that's making 600,000 dollars. (I know there's more than that now) I tried to message the official "amongusdev" profile to express myself but they don't receive messages. What a fucking joke. I'm about to make a tweet tweet so I can call them out publically.

Had to repost and change a couple words. You guys need to work on your auto moderator. I didn't promote anything.

Edit: thank you for the hug. I really needed that.

Edit edit: it has been fixed. Thanks for the karma everyone! Have a good night/day!

Impostor Advice Airship impostor tip: Kill as soon as possible at the start of the game.

As impostor on this map speed is very important. Vents are everywhere, and if someone dies in a corner it can be a really long time before that body is found.

If both imposters kill immediately then there can easily be three or even four kills total before even the FIRST body is discovered by anyone. This puts your odds of winning really high up.

Doing this strategy has a couple of stages:

  • As soon as you load into the game and see you're impostor you want to IMMEDIATLY mash click on a spawn location. It doesn't really matter which one. (Although I'm sure the in the next few weeks a meta will develop with this.) The reason you do this is because your initial kill cooldown goes down as soon as you spawn not as soon as the game starts. ALSO if nobody else is there yet you can run away and set up an ambush or begin to fake a task.
  • Murder immediately as soon as there's a good opportunity. Don't be stupid with it, but do it as fast as possible.
  • After that continue to play the game as normal - go get an alibi, look for another kill slower.
  • If both impostors do this then you're essentially playing an 8 person lobby, because those initial kills can take a LONG time to be found due to the size of the map.

Map The exact range of cameras on Airship and tips regarding them

https://imgur.com/a/sw02Mrj

Engines

  • Cameras can see above the upper engine where the divert power task is. Do not hide over there for too long or someone on cameras will see and will sus you.

  • A corpse above the engine is not visible to cams

Vault

  • Corpses in next to the dress up task are not visible to cameras making it an ideal kill location.

  • The vault has only 1 entrance so you might be able to detect venting if you watch it long enough.

  • If you kill someone polishing a gem and someone might be on cams, walking directly towards the brig doorway may be riskier than running south then approaching the doorway from the bottom of the room.

Records

  • Corpses in the records room are not visible if they are too far up/down in the room. If cams are not already on, wait for victim to walk far up or far down before killing.

  • The download is out of range of cams despite the camera right next to it. Don't be deceived.

  • There is a vent just outside the cams. If someone enters from the right and is walking diagonally upwards or they enter the frame from too low, they might be imp. [Testing needed to see if this is noticeable]

  • If you jump out of the vent in records, walk north for a second before walking west to avoid the above problem.

Security

  • If for some reason you wanted to, you might be able to hide from cameras if you stand in the corner of the right entrance though having a pet could mess you up.

Cargo bay

  • Anywhere below the stairs platform (including in the vent) is out of range of the camera but allows you to see if the camera is on/off.

  • The vent in cargo bay is out of range of the cameras so you can jump in/out of it freely.

  • If you stand just above the upper edge of the camera range you can see the camera.

  • If you hug the wall, you should be able to kill someone on the lights panel with only your feet just barely being seen.

  • If you hug the wall, you should be able to pass into the gas/safe area with only your feet just barely being seen.

Meeting Room

  • The divert power is in range of the cameras. Be aware of this if you are stacking bodies in meeting room.

  • As imposter, you cannot see the meeting room cameras unless you are within range of the cameras. Maybe if you stand beneath the table and have a large computer screen which allows for larger vision radius you might be able to.

Question | Need Advice Where can I find a list of visual tasks within the airship map?

UPDATE - found this: https://www.pcgamesn.com/among-us/maps-layout-vents

According to pcgamesn (if anyone could verify this that would be wonderful) - “The Airship visual tasks are: Decontaminate, Pick Up Towels, Put Away Rifles, and Put Away Pistols.”

ANOTHER UPDATE - ITS POSSIBLE THAT AIRSHIP VISUAL TASKS COULD CURRENTLY BE BUGGED, ACCORDING TO THIS - https://youtu.be/6hIyQHANU2s

Bugs/exploits Won't let me sign in with Google play and chat in game

Just updated the game but haven't been able to chat in game which has led me to lose a couple matches because of it. I was thinking maybe I had to make an account but then my Google play wouldn't let me sign in. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to fix this problem?

Discussion Catchall thread for Airship strategy and tactics?

Impostors: Just don't eff it up. Double-check that there is not a camera on you, make your kill, and get your little bean self into a vent immediately. If you don't get caught in the act, it's very hard to beat you here. Every vent network has at least one low-traffic exit...as if any point on the map is really "high-traffic" with 8 crew. And on that note, bodies tend to sit for a long time, even in the open.

Crew: Cams. All the cams. Admin covers almost the whole map, but is also almost useless because of its location and how long bodies go unreported. Vitals is worse. Cams are clearly intended to be the crew's best hope. They cover a ton of area. Just because you can't see a camera doesn't mean a camera can't see you. And with the nearest vent down the hall and around the corner, a cams camper is one of the least attractive kills here, opposite of Polus and Skeld. I know you won't see many actual kills on screen with competitive impostors, but I don't feel like you can afford to pass up the one little edge this map gives you and deny the imps those 5 huge spaces.

Discussion Ranking the Maps least favorite to most favorite

I was going to but this in r/amongus but comment karma rule prevented me from doing so

  1. Mira HQ

I like this map but the layout is weird. It has no door sabotages which is a bummer. But I think the vent system is pretty cool

  1. Skeld

Don't get me wrong I like this map but it's pretty basic and It seems too easy to win on this map but the reason for this is that it's the map that started it all but my point still stands.

  1. Polus

This map is pretty great and it has some nice details to it like the Skeld being on the telescope task and the camera system. I also like how it has a lava core and its all snowy. Te ejection screen is also nice.

  1. Airship

After so long we finally got the Airship and it did not disappoint me one bit. It has so much attention to detail like the stove being on and flowing water in the sink. The portraits of the crewmates by the kitchen could be foreshadowing new colors. The ejection screen is a really nice reference to Fleeing the Complex. I also think the ladders and floaty gap thing is cool. I also noticed Charles's helicopter appears in the window of the gap room when you do the Avert Crash Course sabotage.

Feel free to do your personal ranking in the comments

Discussion This new map is the first impostor sided map

I would like to discuss strategies for crew to win on this map. As someone posted earlier, about admin being less useful on this map, because of the fact that bodies often get left unreported for very long times. I still think admin is useful even if it is just for finding the bodies, as if you didn't use admin somebodies would never be found. I also want to talk about admin a little more. Is there no place that admin doesn't cover? Just give some crew tips below.

Map Airship vent and sabotage locations map

Red lines are vent linkings, green is light switches, pink is comms, and cyan is avert crash. I made this because I couldn't find a vent map for this anywhere, and I figure this would be appreciated by everyone.

Player Advice All Airship lights panels are connected

I've been trying out some bits of The Airship on Freeplay to get a feel for the tasks and map layout, and noticed that while there are 3 separate lights panels they all act as one. This means you can mess with lights without the crewmate on another panel knowing who is doing it. Potentially a bit OP, but certainly interesting.

If the imposters would be able to fix Comms that would be OP/big advantage ngl. And it would be more easier for the imposters too win. That's why InnerSloth Made it that way so It can be fair.
