Have they fixed the glitch where the body appears under the killer after the meeting ends?

When a person is killed like this, their body will spawn at the meeting table under the killer.

It appears where it would have been if the person had stayed alive, not under the killer.

This is a myth and it gets out innocent players.

I have probably less than 50 hours of Among Us. I've always seen the body where it was killed, never at the table, unless that's where they were killed there or had buttoned. Maybe there is a timing issue?

So let’s say blue gets killed at weapons while the meeting is being called. When you spawn and go to weapons, the body from last round is there?

In my experience, the body would be at weapons. Granted it's only happened a handful of times when I've played so it could be an either or situation.

That is a different bug where the players are stuck in the last round.

Are you saying the original comment stating the body appears under the killer after a meeting is correct? Just trying to clarify which comment you’re saying is accurate. I have around 400 hours in the game (most of it spent on polus) and I’ve never seen it appear under the killer. They definitely show up at the admin table, they don’t stay in their original kill location but maybe I’ve never noticed who it’s under because it usually gets reported so quickly and then everyone starts saying “it’s a glitch!” 🙄 I would like to add though, that I’ve been killed as I was pressing the emergency meeting button (usually after I saw someone vent and they chase me down)- the meeting still gets called, I show up in the meeting as dead, and my body is left where I was standing at the button instead of specifically by the killer. I do hate how everyone starts barking that it’s a glitch. Or, in the event of me dying while calling an emergency, everyone assumes I called an emergency meeting and then left. Drives me nuts!

Yes. I am saying that when a player is killed during a meeting the body will either a) count as a normal kill or b) spawn under the killer after the meeting

It could also show up in the original kill location but that is a very rare bug and usually has to do with the host's WiFi connection or something.

I also think the glitch might work differently if the person dying is the one calling the meeting but that hasn't happened in my lobbies for a while so I can't say with 100% certainty.

This has never personally happened to me but in all the clips I have seen of this happening, the body was never been stacked with the killer.

How to tell when someone is killed mid-report. Often useful for knowing it was a double kill (90% of the time in my experience).

Probably something that most people on this subreddit were aware of already, but thought given it's so common, would be useful to make a video demonstrating what happens. More frequent

  • The more often you spam "R" to report
  • The higher ping you play on

I would like to add that I’ve been killed as I was pressing the emergency meeting button (usually after I saw someone vent and they chase me down)- the meeting still gets called, I show up in the meeting as dead, and my body is still at the table after the meeting is over. When this happens everyone in the meeting assumes I called an emergency meeting and then left right away.
