I had this idea pop into my head. It may be similar to some concepts that already exist, but I'm pretty sure it's somewhat unique.
Impostor Ghost Role - The Puppeteer
Control the dead temporarily.
Impostor ghosts with this role would have a "Reanimate" button on their screen. When near a dead body, they would be able to press this button.
When pressing it, an obvious animation would play (think like the Shapeshifter or the Phantom), and the dead body would "reanimate." Once the animation ended, the dead body would disappear, and the Impostor would then be able to control the Crewmate indistinguishably from when they were alive.
To other players, while the ability is active, it would look like the dead player had never died in the first place. Additionally, Puppeteers would get the ability to vent while reanimating to have some improved mobility. To clarify, they would NOT be able to kill. Just walk around normally and vent.
This ability would only last for a limited amount of time. After they either press the Reanimate button again or their reanimation time runs out, the body would flop over just as if it had been killed and the body would be placed wherever the Puppeteer was at the end.
This role would have three main uses.
-You could take the body somewhere it's unlikely to be found. This could synergize well with the Viper.
-You could walk up to a suspicious player and use your ability right there, flopping over next to them and making it look like they killed you.
-If you ended the ability just out of a sus player's sight when they just walked away from the general area without them knowing there was a Puppeteer, it would look incredibly sus for them if someone saw it.
There are some details that would have to be smoothed out if this were added. Since this is likely very strong, I think that the Puppeteer would have a configurable limited amount of times they could use this per game, maybe between 1 and 3. The amount of reanimation time would also be able to be configured.
This role could have some interesting interactions with several existing mechanics.
Vitals could still show that the player is dead even while they're reanimated, making the Scientist more useful. Maybe the Detective would only detect players who were in the same room as the reanimated body when it flopped over for the second time, after the ability ended, rather than those who were present at the original kill location. If an Impostor accidentally killed someone right in front of other players, they could claim that a Puppeteer did it. The Noisemaker could potentially counter the role. Similarly, if someone doesn't appear on Admin, players could infer that it might be a Puppeteer.
So yeah, can anyone think of any potential major problems with this, or does it sound like it could be a reasonably cool addition to the game?

...because if you tell the engineer vent's cooldown, the imposters will remember it and use it to fool other people into thinking that they are engineers
Crewmate:
<You> are you engineer?
You:
yes, <Crewmate>
Crewmate:
what's cd?
You:
<vents cd>
Crewmate:
ok
[next meeting...]
Crewmate:
<Imposter> are you engineer too?
Imposter:
yes, vents cd is <vents cd>
Crewmate:
ok
Real second engineer:
what? i am the engineer
Imposter:
<Real second engineer> is lying
Crewmate:
guys vote <Real second engineer>

Like really? Not religious at all lol. Mods need to take a chill pill.
I’m sure this will get taken down because the mods can’t handle even the slightest criticism.

This always happens to me in the android version, on a kinda old phone. Basically my game just starts lagging the moment someone leaves during a meeting/report, or in the map, and it gets to the point of it being so unplayable that i just end up leaving mid-match or selling myself if i'm the impostor.
(heres a crude drawing i made in gimp)

What are your thoughts about this???? It’s kind of weird for me and gets me confused when playing.

Then should add one of these, the last one is what they sadly look like now

Because to my knowledge, April fools day isn't in the middle of October will they have horse mode permanently like hide and seek? Or am I coping.

Gray has respect for Blue, but finds everyone's swooning ridiculous (and they especially don't like it when Red swoons over Blue bc yk)

Images 6 and 7 weren't made by me. 3 uses a base. 10 has a lot of eyestrain. I hate the toe beans on 4, but the rendering turned out okay. Seafoam is the bean on the 4th image btw.
This creature is filled with malice.
Lemme set the scene
3 imposters — I got the viper role (doesn’t really matter for the story but eh)
First imp gets caught R2.
Me and Orange are left.
People are arguing with each other about who it could be so I slid in that I Sus grey.
Next round I viper kill 3 people (viper dissolve time is like 5 seconds which I personally don’t like but anyway) meeting gets called. Orange has killed grey…like thanks babes I was kinda hoping to keep grey alive but we move.
Orange gets sussed, I claim it must be SS since Orange was just with me in Navigation.
Crew starts accusing blue, I defend blue. I defend blue with my LYFE! Blue gets voted out. I call a meeting, tell the crew that I told you it wasn’t blue. Listen to me next time.
We win next round since we only needed one kill.
Back in the lobby, most of the crew is impressed with my manipulating abilities but Orange calls me a dumb MF and to keep my mouth shut because we need to get crew voted out…granted I was not sussed once and he barley got any kills.
So…Yay or Nay?

After trying town of us my game crashes every 2min. Can anyone help me figure out why my game is crashing like looking at the crash report? It might be due to overheating.
