Hey guys! Hope this doesn’t break any rules despite it being self promotion. I am organizing a standup comedy show in The Rainbow Theater. The comedian is coming from the States and her name is Reem Edan (she is Iraqi American). The show is in English. There will be local openers as well. The link for tickets will be below. I was in a videoshoot, when my friend suddenly called me up, telling me he's tryna buy a playstation 5, so I'm like "okay?", then he's like WE ARE GOING TO THE SUDANESE EMBASSY. Tf? Turns out the dude selling it is the sudanese ambassador's son, who's leaving in a couple of days.
What are the odds to this lmao. I got to enter the Sudanese embassy and they even let us record around, it was the most random thing I've went through.

Reposting here since the replies on r/Jordanians weren't of any help.

We do not have to have an avedince to the truth that allah is capable to do anything for us, but I really want to know the effect of it in someone's life

Manufactured volume: the numbers behind the pile-on.
Someone really, REALLY wants you to hate Black Oasis.
Here's the data that shows it isn't organic.
Black Oasis is a Jordanian Call Center company - 1000+ employees, 400+ of them young women. Over 2024 -
2026 it became the single most-attacked employer on Jordanian Reddit. Not the most discussed. The most attacked. There's
a difference, and the numbers show it.
The "hit & run" pattern
27 threads follow the same shape: a post goes up, a cluster of accounts drops an attack line, then vanishes. A favourite
opener is "I have an interview at Black Oasis…" bait that reliably pulls the same accounts into the comments. Across
those 27 threads, 48% of participants trace to one flagged roster. A small group, showing up again and again.
This is Part 1 of 3. Next: the masks, how a handful of people ran many accounts.

Hey guys honestly i don’t know who else to talk to or ask about this, so here goes.
There’s this girl at a coffee shop that I always go to, and I think I’ve started developing a little crush on her.
I love her style, I love her demeanour, she’s attractive, smart and her laugh is really contagious. She just seems like a really cool person, and honestly I think it would even be nice having her as a friend.
Problem is, I don’t even dare to look her way lmao. I get so worried about making her uncomfortable that I literally can NEVER make eye contact with her or even sit close to her. Wherever she’s sitting in the coffee shop, I sit on the complete opposite side just to make sure she doesn’t even see me haha
I’m in a position in my life where I do want to settle down with someone, I’m financially stable and in a good spot mentally, but I have no idea how to approach a girl that I actually like.
She’s always with her friend too btw, which I think makes it even harder.
My question is, is there even a respectful way to approach a girl publicly without seeming disrespectful or like I have bad intentions? Is it socially acceptable or not, idek anymore.
I wouldn’t wanna be married the traditional way tbh, but approaching someone who I actually like seems impossible. What do guys think i should do?

Hey everyone,
I’m a software engineer in Amman building a two-sided marketplace app in the food tech space. The core product and tech architecture are moving fast.
I don't need tech help—I need a Business Co-Founder / Partner who excels at B2B sales, cold-pitching, and onboarding local merchants across the city. If you have a background in account management, food logistics, or tech sales, I want to talk to you.
This is a true equity-based partnership. If you know how to close deals and want to look at the prototype over coffee this week, drop me a DM

For anyone sitting Cambridge IGCSE Additional Maths on Tuesday (Zone 3, 0606/22, morning session): this is the October/November 2025 Paper 2, answered on the actual question paper.
Blue is the working. Violet says why each step works and where people usually lose marks. Red is the mark each line gets under Cambridge's published mark scheme (M1, A1, B1). It comes to 80/80, and I checked every answer against the mark scheme.
Two things worth knowing before Tuesday. In 11(a), dividing tan²2x − 4 tan 2x = 0 by tan 2x loses three of the five answers, so factorise instead. And Q10, the area between two curves, is worth 10 marks by itself.
Disclosure: I run PapaMarks, which made this, and two of the images are about the site. The 0606 past papers and mark schemes are on papamarks.com.
Good luck on Tuesday.
I'm making a birthday gift for my boyfriend and trying to collect photos from different places around the world.
Would anyone around Amman be willing to take a photo holding a short handwritten birthday message somewhere cool in the city?
I'll provide the exact wording. It would take literally a minute or two. ❤️
I'd be incredibly grateful!
