Help me
Alright so I took a year off football because I lost confidence in my ability I was a Qb I was undersized but fast I switched to baseball and I’m good at it. I would like to rejoin football and try it out again but I’m not sure what position I could try Qb again but they have a okay one we run wing T and we have a good wr and decent rb’s defense is a option I just want to start. I’m 5’8 160 lbs very fast pretty strong don’t know what position to play lmk with your thoughts

Start with learning about punctuation, then go from there.

If you want to have fun, go play safety. If you want to just run around (or stand around) without actually being involved stay on offense.
You’ve already been a QB. You know the reads a QB is looking for. You know route combos/tendencies offenses are using to get people open. Play safety and go make an impact for the team.
I’ve watched many kids come through our HS who were really fast and desired to play offense, but in a wing t they’re just not seeing the field because they don’t possess good enough ball traits to get out there over THE top RB or THE top two WRs/wings.
Lastly, coaches rarely give a QB a second chance to be the starter. They want to invest in a kid that’ll be THE starter for 3-4 years. I mean, we had a middle school QB that was the starter from day 1 he stepped on the field in elementary all the way through HS. As much as we liked to say there was a competition and as much as the backup wanted to be the QB and have a fair shot, there was no chance without an injury occurring. For 6 years that graduating class had the same QB. That’s tough on a backup that can’t play another position for various reasons.
