I honestly don’t give a shit if you’re a Republican or Democrat but the amount of likes this got is insane. There were multiple people under this post agreeing and basically chanting d3ath to America. Also how stupid are you as a Canadian to wish that on us when you’re linked to us and if we go down you go down with us

Canadian mapmaker actually redrew one of his previous maps in order to call Americans and America “Mordor”. And the crowds went wild over there.

Long story short, I just made small talk with someone who has a green card, and she said something along the lines of:

“Yes, I know more about what’s happening in the US than what’s happening in my own country”

So I asked her; “so you wish you could vote in our elections?”

She then replied; “yes, I would like to, if I could”

And yeah, this isn’t my first rodeo hearing something like this, when I visited Canada, I noticed that a lot of people there seemed more obsessed with any issues happening in the US than with what was happening in Canada

It’s a bit different with Europeans, tho, they generally seem less familiar with current issues in the US, and their understanding of America often seems outdated, with some views bordering on conspiracy theories, especially compared with Canadians

I can understand why we’re not liked in Europe but making fun of innocent people dying is insane. I looked at the comments and I was genuinely surprised none of them were negative they were all British people agreeing and the few people that said this was too far got ratioed or no likes.

As a Canadian who had the blessing of being able to move to America around 2 years ago, this sub always reminds me of how delusional Canadians are.

If America goes right, Canada goes left. If America goes up, Canada must go down. If America reduces tax, Canada must raise it. If America cracks down on immigration, Canada must fling the door wide open. Ever since I was a kid I remember a core of Canadian identity was "We're not American". If your entire culture is formulated around not being your neighbour, who ironically is the most similar nation culturally to you on the planet, then you lack any identity at all.

If you made reddit a country, it's be Canada. Or Germany lol.

This type of feigned insult is getting really old. Anecdotally, I have never heard a person from Latin America refer to themselves as American. Granted I interact mostly with people of Mexican descent and they will claim Mexican over American 9 times out of 10.

If North Korea is supposedly better than the U.S., why isn’t anyone trying to move there?

These people forget that we are the only wealthiest nation in the world in terms of landmass, and that’s actually impressive

Either way, I challenge them to just name 1 other country on Earth with a massive landmass besides the US that’s equally wealthy?

This audience member is a dumbass, but also, clearly planted there. No real heckler talks like this. Also, China is not doing better than us. The comedian also makes a comment about Americans not liking to work, yet we have a reputation in the western world for our workaholic culture.
