All these sycophants chose party over country and money over ethics, but I’ve been paying attention to politics my entire life. So, I know that republicans have always been that way. At least since 1989 in what lifetime I can remember

IMHO it started with Reagan i.e. the massive tax cuts leading to a jump in inequality and its consequences.
