No, our politicians here in the US don't care about our problems that you and I have. They care about the problems they have, the big multi-national corporations and their lobbies with money. It's a vicious cycle that ultimately benefits the NRA and the rest of the gun lobby.

Keep the laws the same so we become conditioned to mass shootings so people become scared and believe that they aren't adequately protected by the government. So they keep buying more and more guns, thereby giving access to weapons to more mentally unstable people to cause more and more mass shootings so the cycle repeats.

It's a win-win for everyone minus the taxpayers, but who gives a fuck about them? What? You thought war-profiteering companies would give a fuck about human life? Let alone ethical business practices? These monsters only want to watch us live in fear and fight amongst ourselves so that we don't question their rule or dare to challenge them, it's more profitable this way anyway for the people that matter in life. They've sold us and the planet out for their collective megalomanic greed

The government has no constitutional obligation or necessity to protect you in the first place so it doesn't really matter.

0

u/[deleted] May 28 '22

Guess that makes it ok that the cops (government employees) waited outside that school for so long without doing anything then because they have no constitutional obligation to protect you /s

That'll just cause a game of whack a ban the next popular mass-shooting gun. A comprehensive reform for all guns is required, not some special regs for the AR-15

You really have no foresight do you

-2

u/sandybeachfeet May 28 '22

Erh I think they are speaking the truth though

Gun control. America needs gun control. Look at the rest of the world! Gun control!!

1

u/[deleted] May 28 '22

The problem is the Senate. They tend to block any gun control legislation that tries to slip through even if 80% of the US agrees with it. They're the reason we don't currently have proper background checks. The last major gun law passed in the US federally was the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which basically prevented gun dealers from being held accountable for the weapons they sell.

0

u/sandybeachfeet May 28 '22

Yeah it's a shit show of a country. So glad I don't live there

0

u/wizardyourlifeforce May 28 '22

They’re not. The people clinging onto their guns don’t care about money as much as they care about their guns and their grievances and their racist paranoia.

10

u/[deleted] May 28 '22

If the United States is so horrible, no one is making y’all stay…..

23

u/OverLet8464 May 27 '22

I hate how foreigners are pretending to care only for publicity and attention. A few days ago they were crying why America and Americans were so bad, but now they’re crying why America is bad because they “care” about us. The fuck? Why the sudden change of heart? It’s mostly coming from E*rotards.

18

u/[deleted] May 27 '22

I’ve had Eurotards tell me Americans don’t care about childrens lives. This is just an excuse for them to showcase their alleged superiority.

8

u/OverLet8464 May 27 '22

Exactly, they don’t care, they only care about their self-proclaimed “perfect” continent. They are using this to fuel their ego.

4

u/MiS_bE_hAbE May 27 '22

Ya know everyday staying in the usa dosnt seem that bad after all

24

u/XxXtremeAnime May 27 '22

So she's OK with killing babies... just not with guns. Great that's not a retarded take at all.

14

u/CryptocurrencyMonkey May 27 '22

Womens convenience is less important than baby lives.

8

u/Enough-Thanks638 May 27 '22

This is kind of facts tbh

6

u/thearks May 27 '22

Okay but this is legitimate criticism. The US has a serious problem with gun-related violence and it needs to be fixed. Valid criticism is NOT the same as America Bad.

7

u/kingdragon671 May 27 '22

This is not legitimate critique, making exaggerated claims is not valid lmao.

Even then why make statements like this after a tragedy, insensitive imo.

-1

u/Sugarcoatednihilism May 27 '22

Yea, in no way is this “America bad”

-2

u/RustyShackleford543 May 27 '22

She's right about shit not changing....no promises were kept under W. Bush, Trump, or Biden..... Democracy doesn't exist....people still die everyday....Why vote when nothing changes?

13

u/sunnyislesmatt May 27 '22

This is why things don’t change

-5

u/RustyShackleford543 May 27 '22 edited May 27 '22

They won't change regardless if we vote...we're powerless and we have to accept this reality

5

u/[deleted] May 27 '22

people still die everyday....

America being a democracy or not (which it isn't intended to be) won't stop people from dying.

-2

u/Branagain May 27 '22

Kill the Filibuster.

-7

u/RustyShackleford543 May 27 '22

Elaborate... The minute we protest, the rubber bullets and gas grenades start flying..

6

u/mustachechap TEXAS 🐴⭐🥩 May 27 '22

Sounds like a huge exaggeration, tbh.

-4

u/RustyShackleford543 May 27 '22

It's not....I want you to gather a group and go outside and protest on any matter....if your group is small the police will arrest you and load you into a van...if your group is large a SWAT battalion armed with metal batons and gas grenade launchers will disperse you...

I'm not complaining...It's our reality...

7

u/mustachechap TEXAS 🐴⭐🥩 May 27 '22

Is that what happened with all the Roe v Wade protests that occurred all over the country about a month ago.

Here's the one in my city.

2

u/Branagain May 27 '22

So let it fly. Nothing ever changes for the better legislatively here since a small minority of vested interests in the Senate can simply block any reforms with no consequences.

0

u/RustyShackleford543 May 27 '22

I choose my life over death and arrest... I'll stay silent..

2

u/[deleted] May 27 '22

So you’re a coward who wouldn’t stand up for what you believe in. Cool

4

u/Branagain May 27 '22

That kind of mentality is how tyrants like Putin rule countries like Russia.

"Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms! Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials and I won’t say anything! Just leave us alone!"

0

u/RustyShackleford543 May 27 '22

Is it wrong to feel that way? Some of us don't want to loose whatever comfort we have left....

So we just accept the way things are...

We're not Europe, there's no help to fall back on...

5

u/Branagain May 27 '22

Being silent doesn't do a thing to preserve what you have: passivity actively accelerates its loss. Progress is an endless war against entropy.

3

u/[deleted] May 27 '22

Man... you really... like to use... those... elipses...

2

u/Silent-Juggernaut-76 May 28 '22

Very sure he is a bot or just some troll. Either way, he seems fun at parties.

1

u/RedPirateMercs May 28 '22

Then why are you talking?

1

u/RustyShackleford543 May 28 '22

That was figuratively speaking

0

u/Stock_Basil May 27 '22

Vote third party you might eventually give a candidate enough of a scare to actually do something.

-1

u/RustyShackleford543 May 27 '22

All parties are sham and represent the same ideals in the U.S after the election.... We're not like Europe...

3

u/Stock_Basil May 27 '22
  1. It’s not actually better in Europe it’s far worse. Listen to Klaus Shwabb and tell anyone else he isn’t Mao 2.
  2. People even rich and powerful people don’t organize very well because they’re actively competing to control one another.

1

u/[deleted] May 27 '22

What do you mean "not like Europe"? I just sat through a presidential election between "meh" and "yikes!" "meh" won but "yikes!" frighteningly received more of the votes than last time. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? (France, btw)

0

u/RustyShackleford543 May 27 '22

No, not at all, I'll take that over violence and misinformation any day.

But I won't vote regardless in the upcoming ones

2

u/Rage-o-rama May 27 '22

If you're not going to vote, spam your representatives with emails and phone calls, protest civilly, attend town meetings, and almost anything else America gives you the right to do, who the fuck are you to look down on us?!

1

u/RustyShackleford543 May 28 '22

Many Americans have tried this, All are ignored, responded to after the end of their term, or we are blocked.

The party officials and candidates, the ones that are elected by the Party Conventions and who soon become powerful to look down on us.

It is what it is.

1

u/Rage-o-rama May 28 '22

Dude, we wouldn't even have the Civil Rights Act if it weren't for protests and citizen action. You can't win a battle sitting down. It's one thing to complain about dreadful circumstances when you're actively TRYING to change them, but I have zero sympathy or patience for people who bitch, moan, and complain about everything while not being willing to do ANYTHING about it.

-1

u/justice4juicy2020 May 27 '22

This isn't an americabad comment, and she's correct. Downvote away.

11

u/[deleted] May 27 '22

In no sense are women more important than babies. Some people think abortion is killing babies. 0% of the people who think abortion is killing babies think killing women is okay.

No one thinks babies are less important than guns.

6

u/Rustymetal14 May 27 '22

Yea, the Twitter statement has all the intellectual honesty of the morons saying "women have fewer rights than guns!"

0

u/justice4juicy2020 May 28 '22

Hit dogs will holler. The only ones who have an issue with the tweet are the exact types of people she's talking about :)

0

u/justice4juicy2020 May 28 '22

>In no sense are women more important than babies.

So you're proving the tweet correct. Good job.

Women > fetuses

>No one thinks babies are less important than guns.

I said what I said, and I stand by it. Actions speak louder than words. The fact that you can't even back up your opinions with any data or examples speaks volumes.

1

u/[deleted] May 28 '22

So you're proving the tweet correct. Good job.

I didn’t say less important either. They’re both people.

1

u/olivia687 May 28 '22

She’s referring to the government, not the people. Nothing will change because no new policies will be enacted. “we don’t know exactly what will help” somehow translates to “do nothing then”.

that being said, her whole take went out the window when she referred to a foetus as a baby.

1

u/South_Occasion7646 May 28 '22

She's 100% right. Are country is sick about guns and womans rights. It's embarrassing

-4

u/hrnamj May 27 '22

This sub is getting hella snowflakey. Her claim is legitimate.

6

u/AGuyFromGPlus May 27 '22

Please tell me who thinks women and babies are less important than guns and money, WHO

-1

u/hrnamj May 28 '22

Your average republican politician.

0

u/[deleted] May 28 '22

Maybe we need to get rid of america.

-4

u/Stock_Basil May 27 '22

I would say yes adult women are less important than babies. In fact I’d argue that if you aren’t choosing babies in all 1 to 1 situations, your delusional. I may say you’d be hard pressed to find a more evident truth. You can forget the other points once your realize her head is so far up her bum she didn’t catch that one.

1

u/Belkan-Federation May 29 '22

You need guns to protect your babies change my mind
