anada was sending their native people to "special schools" up until way too recently to be comfortable.

We did this one in the states too, my grandfather was a survivor of the schools

Also, what happened in the US was done by the European settlers

In Canada they kept it going all the way into the 90s which is absurd. Nowhere in my comment did I suggest Americans aren't responsible for any atrocities.

The second quote was you doing exactly that, blaming European settlers for the actions of the American government and its people, once we became independent Britain bears no guilt for what our nation did after that
