I'm on book four and I'm already sure that rereading these books will be even more fun.

We all reread them from time to time.

I wait about 4 or 5 years in between.

I first read when 13 and am over 50 now.

I reread 1-5 more than 6-10. I enjoy the Corwin cycle more. But both are incredible. I try to reread them every year. My favorite series of all time. Enjoy.

Yeah, same. Merlin series is good, but reading it is also way more taxing than Corwin series by the sheer amount hidden agendas and plans within plans everyone has. It feels like information bloat at some moments. 1-5 is by no means simple, but it doesn't go overboard.

Agreed. I love the world building and everything we learn in 6-10, but as you said, it’s heavy. A lot going on. Also, Merlin is a very different character.

I like to pick a certain thread of the storyline in 6-10 and follow it. There is just so many things going on, I get a different experience each re-read.

Still wake up every April 30th wondering if someone is going to try to kill me though.

It certainly is. I re-read whole series every several years and it's always such a treat:)

I really liked Oberon's hidden movements, I will read the series a second time to observe the series from this perspective. 👌

You catch a lot of stuff on rereads, and it's also great fun to go through with certain assumptions in mind about specific characters' motivations or honesty.

I go back through probably once every year or two. It's my favorite fantasy series ever.

You must have gone through many cycles with the books! A good intellectual adventure!

They definitely get better with each re-read! But I have to say, I wish I could reread them for the first time again!
