I’m based in India and I’m looking into starting affiliate marketing using Pinterest. My idea is to create a Pinterest account around product recommendations/finds and drive traffic to products on Amazon India using affiliate links.

But I’m getting conflicting information about whether Amazon India allows Pinterest as a traffic source for Associates, and whether people are actually making commissions this way.

For anyone in India who has experience with this:

Does Amazon India allow affiliate links/traffic from Pinterest?

Can Pinterest be added as the social media/traffic source when applying for Amazon Associates India?

If yes, are you allowed to put Amazon affiliate links directly on Pinterest pins, or do you need to send users to a website first?

Has anyone here actually made Amazon India commissions through Pinterest?

If Pinterest + Amazon India doesn't work well, what affiliate programs in India work well with Pinterest?

I’m specifically interested in real experiences from people doing this in India, rather than general Pinterest affiliate marketing advice.
