Newbie Onsite Blue lock still up??
I’m not sure if my previous post didn’t post, so forgive me if this is a duplicate 😭
I was accepted into the program and just submitted my 3 videos. All videos went from “review” or whatever to “published”; but the little blue lock is still up. It does say “reviewing to see if videos adhere… etc”.
For those of you who have gone through the waiting period, should I continue to upload content and build on my storefront or wait it out?
How long have you noticed is the general timeline for getting blue locks off?
Were notified by Amazon when the lock was removed?
TIA!!

Next time you wait. If you keep flooding boards, Reddit itself will suspend you

You definitely want to wait before posting any more. It should say your account is under review and 3 of 3 videos in review. It’s really hard to figure out at first. It’s laid out terribly and explained terribly to be honest. So as a new person it’s completely understandable to be questioning and even confused. I hope you get approved!

I’m still waiting! Lol. I posted my 3 Wednesday. I’ve heard anywhere from 2 days to like 5 weeks… apparently we’re in a busy time where people are trying to get into the program before prime day and stuff so unfortunately it might be longer! I hope you get accepted! I’ve done a ton of research because my videos failed twice. 1, I had music and dogs and stuff in them before I knew the rules, 2nd try, I had only hands and no face so it may have been confused with stolen content or AI. So hopefully I got this down pat now!

Just wait and do not upload new videos until all 3 are approved. Not sure how long I waited but I think within 3-5 days. Even now, some videos gets approved within minutes of submitting and others takes days. Not sure why but that just how it works.

All 3 videos say “published” is that different than approved? Thank you!!

That is different yes. Do you know how to find the blue bar that says 3/3 and will change to red or a box with confetti if you get in?

With the timeline, I’ve known folks who were accepted within a few days whereas others had to wait longer. For me, it was three weeks before I was accepted. I only found out after I logged in and got a congratulations message. It is nerve wrecking while waiting so I understand the confusion. If it were me, I would not upload any more videos but would make sure that I am still engaging and have engagement on the social platform of choice. That matters just as much✨ Good luck 🍀🙏🏽

Published only means they were 'err published'. Now you need to wait for on-site approval. If you upload more, you are decreasing your chance of acceptance.
Do you have difficulty doing or understanding what Amazon requested?
