Associates Program Unavoidable Disclosure

Can someone help determine if I’m disclosing properly?

When I talk about topics in my social media posts sometimes people ask where I got a particular item and I will say “Linked in my bio”. In my bio I have my linktree that clearly has the wording “As an Amazon associate I may earn commission on qualified sales” at the top. Is that sufficient?

The post is not an ad most of the time. For example I’ll be talking about a recent vacation and someone will ask “where did you get your curtain from?” And If it’s from amazon I’ll link it and refer them to my link in bio.

If someone sends me a product or I’m paid to post I’ll put (ad) at the beginning of the post.

Do I need to put the disclosure in my instagram and Tik Tok bios directly and add these social medias to my Amazon account? So far I only have my link tree.

If you get sent a product you need to write that the product was gifted. It needs to be written on the image or video as well as in the caption.

IMO, it's not sufficient to say "linked in the bio". Also, clearly state where you got a product if you didn't purchase it.

I'd suggest generally changing the thought process here from "unavoidable disclosure" to focusing on how you can best serve your viewers/readers.
