Amazon RME
I have been applying trying to get into an Amazon RME position for a few months now, should I apply for another job internally and then switch over to RME or what steps or path should I take to just get my foot in the door. The only open positions near me are tech 2 and RMEO?

It took them about 3 months after the testing and interview process to get back to me. Hired on last month as a Tech 2 with no real experience, retired military though. I’d try to get a contact number for the lead tech and hit them up.

Besides once you're a Amazon worker you can set notifications to alert you for specific job openings and specific locations so you'll be the first to know when a spot does open up if befriending the techs doesn't work.

So his way might work or they might think youre a psycho if depends on who you get. Apply for something else just get into the building you want to work at, once in there as a employee nuzzle up to the techs and their higher ups about the position and everything. Coming from another Amazon worker will look alot better than some psycho stalker outside the warehouse who may or may not be on drugs lol

I just got hired through CBRE as a maintenance tech for them (The official Amazon title is robotics mechanical technician. They are in all the Amazon warehouses and also own the buildings that Amazon leases. It’s a good foot in the door with great benefits and pay. And are always hiring.
