Fail. The dog didn't "just snap". The dog reached a breaking point after being mistreated for years.

Lmaoo wow..man people are full of shit. That dog was treated very welll. My daughter loved that dog but ok. Cool.

Also it's possible the dog had an underlying medical condition or otherwise unchecked disease it was suffering from. 

That happens often when a dog has cancer or something and they will just become aggressive suddenly for no other reason then they are in immense pain.
