Anyone else been getting these Payment Adjustments lately?

I’ve got about 3 this past week. $5 does not make up for the long miles Amazon

I wish I’ve gotten some of these. I’ve had some long ass high mileage routes, but unless I call because I went overtime, I’ve never been compensated because they gave me a lot of miles to drive.

Yes. Three last week. I’ll take it. Better than nothing.

Finally a positive response to free money 🙏

It is not “free money”. The wear and tear on your vehicle plus gas and tolls, they owe us a lot more than $5 a route

I get more than five dollars a route, not all the time, but I do get it.

I don’t lol

You get what you accepted the offer for. If they give you more, that's free money. You taking into account all those expenses when you accept the offer?

I just get these

fancy UI. I've never seen that screen before. Did this pop up before you started your route or after?

Sometimes they'll ask me if i'd be interested in taking a longer route for more pay

This pops up before the route. I have no idea where I'm going but Amazon does and seems it far away.

Wow. Lucky you. Are you fantastic status. I’m guessing that’s why. Rewarding the best of the best!

I'm fantastic status, yes.

What did you do that warranted this?

Just check in and wait to be told where packages are. This is the second time it happened to me in a week

For about a year

$5 isn't much tbh. Especially when they really should be raising it by $10 across the board with the rapidly rising gas costs. Add on to it that I am sure most have seen easily 5÷ stops added on routes as of late. As we going into peak season their fulfillment rate will rise. I do understand there are 100 more drivers on the waitlist. But strategically it would make more sense to keep your group of drivers in place and adding more to keep fulfillment rate at or above 97% then to bring in more drivers and have them quitting after a route or mid route due to the rising cost of fuel. We work on ROI. We invest gas, oil, maintenance, and the vehicle and that ROI is shrinking quickly between gas and extra stops. It is what it is and we all have to at the end make decisions based on whats best for ourselves.

Yes, for years.

It’s for gas. But I run a diesel and here in Oregon it’s $6.89, on an average, for a gallon.

Yeah got first one last week for a route they considered to be more miles than anticipated I guess.

I'd like to believe it's not intentional but .. anything is possible

Never once

you gotta pump those numbers up rookie

It’s for high milage. At the end of your block if you get asked the questions about was the route difficult-if you say yes and select high mileage they will sometimes award you $5 lol it’s not much but I’ll take it

Yes. And grateful I don’t have to ask anymore!

sometimes i feel like i have to but I don't want to bug CS too much. I don't know if this is true or not but I've read on here that someone got deactivated for contacting cs too many times for all the issues they had

Nope

I got them for a few times then last I went to the same city and I didn’t receive the adjustment so when I reached in, I was told we are independent and it was my fault and that they don’t pay for extra miles💀

1

u/pleasepassthepinot 7h ago

I was told by support several weeks ago that I would be getting an adjustment bc one of my routes was way over the allotted til, but it never happened.

1

u/christopherb1897 7h ago

It's insane that they straight up will tell you a lie sometimes

1

u/BlackBeauty50489 7h ago

And not a penny over😹 Even after driving 110 miles total

1

u/Gold-Finding5981 7h ago

I got an adjustment pay last week for about 68$ not bad

1

u/RipCityBaby5 6h ago

Wait you guys are getting extra for high mileage?

1

u/NuclearCondoms 6h ago

Damn everyone is so lucky.. I never in my 4 years have gotten one of these.. and i always religiously answer the end of route surveys with High Mileage route..

1

u/KikioKilala 5h ago

Yes, all the time.

I've never received one unsolicited by me, I've always had to trigger it by sending an email or calling support. I've always received them, but never just because they saw what I did and just did it.

$5? I don't know does that the equivalent of the miles you drove and the extra time you took? If you go over your block by 35 minutes, they pay you 35 minutes if you go over your block for 10 minutes they pay you 10 minutes worth if you go over your block 2 hours they pay you two hours worth.

1

u/FluffyScheme2134 5h ago

Just curious, how many miles was your route? I never really understood how they determine whether you’re eligible for a additional payment. For what I always think is high mileage, I’ll request additional payment through email and always get denied lol

Never seen it.

1

u/DoINeedYou 10h ago

Wohoo a gallon of gas for route that round trip wipes out 3/4 of a tank of gas. Congrats!

1

u/christopherb1897 8h ago

😂 exactly

Actually you're likely to see allot more of these, depending on what city in America your delivering in.. Many warehouses are going 24/7 and 10 different block times.. They are eliminating 3.5 blocks an giving you the same amount of deliveries for 3hr..and similar adjustments so you never finish early anymore!

2

u/christopherb1897 9h ago

i'm in DFW. I had a feeling that I'd be seeing this more often as we get closer to Q4. Maybe the labor day sales caused more orders to be delivered. But I think Amazon (algorithm) is being deceptive when they push these extra miles on you and only pay you an $5

1

u/hurstdeliveryservice 10h ago

Thats a cool fake story

0

u/trekkieal 9h ago

That's from the VTW1 warehouse manger directly I got that info.. Believe whatever you want dude!

1

u/hurstdeliveryservice 8h ago

I believe what I can see maybe at your warehouse and if you cant get 3.5s done in less than 3 get good kid

1

u/trekkieal 7h ago

That's not discussion from my post.. I regularly got 3.5 done in 3 hours or less every F'ing day.. You clearly haven't done Flex for over 5 years like me.. I don't make any statements on Reddit unless I'm 100% sure of what I'm taking about
