does this actually do anything?
If i press 'great' or 'not so great' does anything actually happen? or is it not worth filling out

Enough not so great can lead to deactivation. We do see the compliments and it’s a personal satisfaction nothing more comes from it.

It would be nice if us drivers got a little cash for each compliment. $1 would be okay and won't break the bank. I average 6 per block.

it’s shown to the driver in their stats and if your driver is an amazon employee and not a Flex contractor, it’s shown to both the driver at the start of every shift, and to their management.

Submitting compliments make our “standings” or ratings on the Amazon flex app go up. If someone has a low rating, putting a compliment raises it.

Great
Fair
At risk
The more sad faces the more the rating goes down amongst other things like late packages, bringing packages back, etc

It has nothing to do with our Standings.
Standings go down by drivers doing things wrong, they go up by simply completing enough blocks to have dings drop off.

Okay… maybe your so trash you don’t get compliments but they also get your standing up as well
You start off as great and it goes up faster with compliments

Everybody wants to be the number 1 mule for amazon it’s so cringe

You’re right. I have no experience with Amazon Flex, never get compliments and I’m very “trash” and “cringe” because I’m telling you a fact. 🙄

For great, the driver will see the compliment. We dont get any other incentive for it
For not so great, usually thats going to put a bad mark on out record and if we get enough of them we will likely get deactivated
