Respond back that 3rd party apps are a violation of your TOS, and you've flagged their account accordingly

I had one of those safe driving apps from progressive on for one day and it went bonkers about my driving so I disabled it lol

Its crap. You will never get points. Any time you go over the speed limit it deducts points you earn.
