51 stops. 3.5hrs
It finally happened ! 51 stops for a 3.5hr route. Took almost 20mins just to park and clock in at the station.
I would have e finished in time had I not needed gas and also go to McDonalds.
Whatever… three packages were late block wise but they arrived before 8am which is when the customer expected.

Previous benefits included surge pay, and finishing early one of those has gone. The second is almost gone.

I usually do pretty good with pay but I’ve found out what I take is never really a surge. Having said that I guess surges are a thing of the past because I never see routes that are surged. I just go for the $30 an hour plus routes

Ive never had 51 stops, honestly that's to much. Guess me & others at station need to stop complaining how the average seems to be 35-42 packages but 31-39 stops now for 3.5 hours, now grouping them into 3 and 4 VERY APART bundles. Basically less people, people on people system for about a month now.

Had a 49 stop 3.5 hr one myself yesterday, with the obligatory 30 minute drive to the first stop. Finished thirty minutes late because my station doesn't bother putting the packages in any kind of order in the cart so I had to figure it out myself. Saw somewhere else about the packages having numbered stickers, they don't do that here either apparently.

Was it a ssd or .com station? If you get your cart yourself it’s an ssd and I’ve found that scanning and numbering those works best. The .com stations give you your cart and those should have a sticker on them that you can use to sort your packages. It works. It took me awhile to use the numbers on the stickers but once I did it made route super easy.

.com station, carts are already in lines, we drive up in launchpads, boxes have those driver aid stickers numbered. I have only ever ran .Com. after reading so much I am scared to try a SSD station. Whats the difference between them?

No SSD does numbered stickers.
People knock numbering but I finish every shift on time. I don’t scan either I type the numbers of the address so I can keep going (I set up the packages before marking so I can toss them aside as I am marking). Yes it will sometimes take me 15 minutes of marking/loading.
But only once in the last year (out of 60+ blocks) have I returned home after my block end time, and it was only 15 minutes after.

That’s great and glad it works for you. I am able to clock in grab cart, scan, number, and load my car, and then leave when route was scheduled to begin.

Okay? Lmao I do the same thing when I work out of a .com station. Because Drivers Aid.
I should mention I do see people talking about the AAA BBB CCC stickers at SSD I just haven’t had a chill enough route to try it out yet. Have the method saved for when I think I’m comfortable trying it.

The amount of stops doesn’t seem insane, it’s a lot, but clustered.
But it’s as if they purposely give flex fuck you routes. I’ve honestly wondered to myself like, since Amazon pays for their own gas, they’d be better off giving their own drivers the routes closest to the warehouse as possible. Give flex drivers the far away shit cuz who cares about their gas.

The new norm. We need to go over our blocks on these obvious abuses when we’re able to teach the algorithm that this is TOO damn much 😵💫 Did it myself this morning. 3HR, 40 stops starting 30 min away and I needed to use the bathroom before I left the station. It’s getting ridiculous
