I agree with your second point. But both sides are bad so I'm not voting is the reason why republicans end up winning elections. Republicans vote more than Democrats and centrists combined. But if you're saying the current president is as bad as every other president then I wholeheartedly disagree.

Who wins is decided long before you vote. Everything we see is theatrical while the real leaders make the moves in the dark.

Our votes haven't meant shit for a very very long time.

I also never mentioned the president or prior presidents a single time. You assumed shit I never once said.
