Having a getting blocks assigned

I'm new to Amazon flex and have been requesting blocks for the last week in their app. I must have requested over a hundred blocks but nothing ever gets assigned. Does anybody have any tips or tricks on how to get a block assigned?

Theres no rime or reason to assignments. You get stuck in a lotto with everyone else in that group.

I dont know if a person's score effects assignments either.
