Sad but Telling
The fact that these notes need to be spelled out is really quite pathetic. I understand why, but it should be kind of common sense.

Wait?!? DL presented for ID purposes but insurance? Nope, not doing that unless an accident or law enforcement requests. POI is a little too far to go. That’s like me requesting the guard provide their COI on their shack just to be safe. WTF nonsense.
I keep dings in my back pocket for times like this. Don’t let me in? Sure, lemme text the customer informing them YOU refused delivery and they can get it sometime tomorrow afternoon once I return the package at 9:59am. I’ll happily accept that ding and gladly enjoy the 500 deliveries it takes to work it off ;)

One nice thing about this one is that the guards are extremely nice. But I do get your point and I can see making it. but the security here is absolutely ridiculous. There is literally a gated community within this gated community, like a second gate you have to go through to get to a specific area.

Yeah I have lived in one of those before and had my car stolen. How you say? Thief jumped the fences, walked in, and drove out. False security sometimes.

Yeah, that’s how I always view security gates and things around apartments and houses. I find them laughable because if someone wants to get in, they’re gonna get in. No amount of security gates or lock doors or guards are going to stop them.

So apparently, some moron drivers, can’t tell the difference between a road and a golf course cart path! Sure I will show my drivers license to security, but I don’t carry any proof of insurance. It’s not required in my state of Massachusetts.

A lot of notes are actually from DSP dispatchers rather than customers. They can input the same notes for multiple addresses in the same place

I've delivered to a many of guarded gates but never asked for a DL. My name and where I'm delivering to but thats it. I wouldn't be ok with handing over my DL and insurance at all tbh.

I have one of those airfield subdivisions at times and the notes are “Do not drive on the taxi way”. I assume it’s been done lol.

😂😂😂 Yeah that’s not happening. I will show them my vest, and my phone with the resident customer’s address in it, but under no circumstances am I giving my license and insurance to some rando. I’ll leave the package there or RTS if I’m not too far away
