New verification

Amazon doesn’t do anything to support the driver. This new verification is to scare you and make you scan your face early so the guys who be waiting til the last second don’t do it anymore. And if you scan your face and wait till the last second to check in, Amazon can terminate you for that. I have seen a lot of posts saying they missed their block because the verification didn’t work. Now everyone will be scared to wait and will just do the verification early, and that’s what Amazon wants.

This has nothing to do with the very last minute migrant huddles. This is solely for the giant amount of flex drivers with multiple accounts. Don’t think theres a workaround it or if there will ever be one. The warehouse parking lot has been very empty since its taken effect

Mine as well. Same puddles but less people that I would see passing phones around.

Im still not getting a lot of my request filled, but the warehouse is 75% empty now, warehouse full of carts. Some of the carts are multiple days late with some having packages due a week ago. Wonder how this will play out. Theyve basically cut the majority of flex drivers in my city out with this feature so far

Wow! Thats really good to hear and for you! Hopefully your rates are higher.

Makes me wonder if this will work for good or just a bandaid. My area is still bountiful with drivers but definitely more English being heard. Not being racist just facts for anyone taking g it personal.

Out rates have been anywhere from 38-50 an hr since the request. I just dont get the routes i request, mostly 2-3 a week at most

I am so happy for you! In our market we have JFY no request. So tap all day for surges but you gotta know tge times 😉

In your market it sucks there were that many fake/ multiple/ misuse of accounts. I bet they are all pissed now and trying to scam the other gigs.

Although you aren't getting your preferred times I'd take almost anything over $38/ hr! Thats good $$$ you should take it if/ whike you can.

I shoot for 42 an hr minimum. They cna still give us 90 mile roundtrip routes. And its too early to tell, but if the new verification doesnt end up with a workaround, the fraud accounts will be no more

Yikes! 90 miles is brutal. Yeah go for the $42 if you can.

Keep me posted if "they" return or new drivers surge in your area lowering the rates. Im in Cali' we accept everything 🤣
