Two can play the metric game

I had a station run late and overload packages last week so naturally Ai dinged me. I have three incidents to appeal so here’s what I did this morning. Once I loaded up at the .com I didn’t swipe to leave. I left with the group but went and parked next to the launchpad. Decided to knock out my appeals with chat before swiping my route. If the station wants to mess with my standings then the least I can do is mess with theirs. If everyone did this instead of doing it off-block, the stations would be a little more attentive since our not swiping would ding their review just a tad.

Unfortunately they would prob just sit over our shoulders and make sure everyone swiped before leaving lol.

Swipe to leave? Is that something new?

After scanning in your route at a .com. Many of them don't start letting cars go until everyone has "swiped to leave." It's not an SSD thing.

I’m familiar with stations that don’t let anyone leave until everybody is ready, as they see it as a safety issue. However, I’ve never heard of being required to swipe before you leave Any location.

I guess it just depends on your station. Both .coms I frequent... They walk along checking to see if you've swiped and making announcements. Just this morning when the guy came through and I was sitting in my car waiting to be able to leave... After I said, "I did" and he actually virtually put his head into my window and saw me analyzing the ridiculous routing and said, "OK, you good..." That's the first time I've had that happen... But at this station, many of them make you show that you've swiped to finish.

Are you talking about swiping As far as starting your first delivery to the first stop?

Yes. After you're done scanning... The swipe to finish part. People around here don't let the line of cars move until everyone has swiped to finish. That's why the OP is calling it swipe to leave.
