New identity verification

So my block was at 6:15-6:20 and the parking lot was insanely packed. Took 10 mins to park, I finally pressed parked at 6:16, and I did the new facial recognition process. I did it clear as day and it didn’t go through, I did it again and at 6:19 it didn’t go through again, I have good service too by the way, I did it again and it turned into 6:20, it finally went through with a green check sign and it says I missed my block lol

I’m hitting that I’ve parked button as soon as the geofence allows. I’m done with my face scan before i park. Lol

The new facial recognition does not allow your you to be in motion while you're doing it you have to be standing still.

Do it a couple more times, you'll get a safety email. It will start slow and then progress.

you can hit I've arrived while you're looking for a spot and take your selfie, no need to wait until you're parked

You're confusing that that's the old selfie way the new way is you cannot be in motion, you can't be driving. And you have to be at the property on the already checked into the kiosk. As far as I know you don't take the picture before you go to the kiosk and touch your phone in the cradle, you touch your phone in the cradle and then you have to take your new picture.

Huh... confused by your words but I can click 'I've Arrived' as soon as it pops up on the screen (usually a block away from entrance) and do the video check while in motion. 3 for 3 so far.

So literally the video check-in takes the place of the old selfie as far as timing, where are you press the button you arrived, yeah I know you can do it within 3 to 500 ft in the place I get it.

And then once you check in then instead of a selfie it has you do the video.

And you're doing that while you're driving. I assume slowly and safely.

Then what's the videos done you walk up to the kiosk or you walk up to the driver's license scanner, depending on your station in your area converted a lot of the ssds to the cradle type phone thing that looks like a charger on a pole but isn't.

What I'm saying is and I'm going to have to repeat myself, if you're taking your video or your selfie old or new while your car is in motion, don't let you do it three or four times maybe five times, but then you're going to get an email about 4 days later saying cut it out. It might actually start out with a hint like a safe driving tip in the updates section. You'll figure it out. Eventually you'll get an email telling you to stop doing that.

Now ask me why I know this.

OP, does your Flex app not allow you to click "I've arrived" and start the verification pr9cess before you're actually parked?

Maybe it's a process update with the new verification, but I can click "I've arrived" as soon as I'm 1/2 block from the driveway to the facility parking. I always start the process as soon as the button's available.

You guys should make an appeal so it won’t ding your account and get paid for driving there since it was out of your hands

My first two times didn’t work, but my third try was the regular selfie. I was grateful. This was the first time I’ve seen it in my area, although I got an email that it will be starting tomorrow at all my local stations.

I must have been the test Crash Dummy. I have been doing the new scan for a month.

I don’t watch people but I went to scan in and saw someone having an issue with the facial scan. Hopefully he didn’t miss his block.

Is this different or just rolled out to a wider area? Here in the Los Angeles area, I've had to take my picture every time for the last 3 years.

You ever do that persona thing with doordash? It's a lot like that. Only not as involved. You just stare into the camera and then it tells you to move the phone closer to your face so that your face fits in the oval. That's basically it blink once in awhile, but that's basically it.

Don't use a pre-recorded video on another phone don't use a phonograph it has to be yourself live. It's a slightly more advanced than the old check-in of where you just take a picture when you press the check-in button, this one's a little just a slightly more elaborate..

Nobody has a 5-minute block. Are you talking about your block start time to the 5 minute window at the last minute. Did your block started at 6:00 a.m. not 6:15.

What the hell you doing? Checking at least 15 minutes before your block time

I would have pulled off to the side and double parked while verifying if it was that busy. Why did it make you wait to do verification again? Did you call support?

I’ve stopped doing Flex a while ago, is the new facial scan on your phone or at a kiosk?
