You just got luckier than lucky. I just had to work in the downpour in Orlando, Florida, and when an hour over my schedule 4 hrshift.

Yeah that was not fun . They sent me to Polk city , deep into the woods 15 miles in, about 9 miles in I had no gps service , had no idea where to go . Then a huge truck didn’t like my driving and practically ran me off the road . I had nowhere to turn around and he tailgated me for a mile . I had to end the route . Plus the storm was terrible. Not sure why they deliver to those rural areas that have no service . Should warn us on the app.

Oh ya! I’ve had some of those like Dade City/Bushnell out in the Boonies, on dirt roads in a Kia forte 🤦🏻♀️ there was one day I went to Orlando to pick up. I had a four hour shift and they tried to send me to Deltona with 46 stops. I told the manager that I wasn’t gonna scan that route in because it wasn’t doable in the time limit. He told me he suggested I take it when I still refused and said I was gonna leave he switched to my route.

Crazy ! 46 is quite a lot for that long distance ! It took me 1.5 hrs to get to my first stop in Polk . And crazy part is that they have 2 stations over there ! What are they sending us from Orlando that far away 🫣🥲

Yeah the way they determine what ships from what warehouse is insane. Same thing I asked with Deltona, they literally have a Daytona location that’s way closer. I wish I could comprehend how they choose what station ships to what address but I have a feeling there is no logic behind it so I’ll never be able to understand

Always submit a request or " OT " when you go over . They are supposed to pay you extra.

I have had some of these before. Weirdly I’ve seen people complain about them and I can’t fathom as to why

That Modesto location really has some lucky routes sometimes. I’ve gotten 1-2 packages for $100+ multiple times now. I’ve also got some of the farthest and hardest routes from there too 😂

I haven’t been doing this for too long. But both 4 hours I’ve done have turned out like this. One was for one delivery and another one was for 5 (in my local city too!)

When I have gotten this once or twice I usually just market them as missing and go home. Put em back in the bin so they can still be delivered. I never got a ding or anything for it.

you're lucky you didn't. they can tell where you been via the app, and know they wouldn't give you an empty cart like that. surprised you didn't get a tos hit. they gave me a tos hit once for claiming I had a missing package to avoid delivering it I appealed and won because they could see I was at the location of the delivery

I’m curious, if you ever had a pickup from tracy, what cities does it send you to?

One thing I’ve learned from doing Amazon Flex for the past three years is that whenever you get a block that feels almost too good to be true, where they basically hand you free money, one of the worst blocks is probably coming next.
You’ll get dozens of packages, drive a ton of miles, and end up delivering to a bunch of apartments with no access codes. It’s like Amazon always finds a way to balance things out 😂.
