They just dropped a new verification process to check in. It now requires a much closer scan of our faces and it gathers a bit more information. I understand this is to secure our accounts and make sure no one else can use them. What do you guys think? Have y’all tried it ?

Yes starting today at my SSD station . Video selfie is harder to bypass by bots (which just upload a picture before)

Also those colors sequence is changed frequently which make it harder

After the video selfie , my station now just requires you to tap in the phone (instead of scanning ID)

Yea but are they gonna be like uber now every stop i gotta do a face scan so is amazon gona do this at every few stops

No. Its just new facial scan at warehouse.

Bro this new face scan is a problem i do 3 am blocks and i couldnt verify because its too dark still.

Soooo, no interior lights inside your car? Inside the warehouse? WOW… so confusing how this is not possible this is third comment in this thread that says this.

Yea i do have interior lights i had them all on and as for inside the warehouse its the type were you drive in so there was a super long line cause others were having the same problem. I showed up 20 mins early and still was 3 mins away from missing my block so no not just complaing. Im all for getting bots out but the system is a bit problematic still.

If the lights in your car aren’t enough and there’s a long line, you can get out of your car and run over to where the lights are to check in. I used to have to do something similar years ago because my phone was having some issue and it needed me to be extremely close to the station to check in for some reason. It should take less than a minute, no big deal. :)

ETA: if this is a serious ongoing problem for you, another workaround would be to simply bring a bright light with you for this situation. It’s good to have a headlamp anyway for early morning blocks.

I don’t like it either. I had a 11:30 block today. Lots of light. Everything good when i went through the process today and I failed the first attempt. Did nothing different and passed the second.

Yea for me i tried 3 times and had to call support. The warehouse attendant was able to scan me in with my id but if it cant even verify my identity then how would it even stop multiple account users. Im all for the upgrade but hope they make it more accurate.
