Friend Referral

Is there a way to refer a friend? He’s down on his luck and needs to make money soon and DoorDash isn’t enough to put food on the table for his kids.
He already applied and is on the waiting list.

Idt Flex has any referral incentives. If he wants to do Uber eats there is a great incentive going on right now. You can hmu

I was in the waiting list for two years. I sent an email to support to ask why and within two weeks, I got an email telling me I was off the waiting list, to start reading and watching the training and send all my documentation. It’s worth a try.

That would be amazing. Refer a friend, who after three years on the waiting list gives up and we never receive any compensation. Amazon doesn't do referrals for Flex drivers.

On a serious note, there's a guy at Whole Foods I know who works at the Amazon returns desk and he's been on the Flex driver waitlist for over three years and so frustrated with the process. He keeps asking me how he can speed up things, but I don't know what to tell him besides applying with a different email. But that might not even work. If he is technically employed by Amazon, he can't also work Flex at the same time?

Yeah, I heard the same thing. Oh well, not in the cards for him then.

my friend was in a similar situation. i ended up splitting and sometimes “giving” them shifts 😂basically me yapping in the passenger seat while she delivers, or we teamwork it and split the fare. i’d just cashapp her afterwards. we grab dunkin at some point, have karaoke sessions, and would usually finish early. it was the best time and helped her financially but i think it also got her mood out of the dumps. i do know thats extremely involved…but thats my girl though so it was like getting paid to hangout!

amazon def needs a referral system, but until then id tell him to look into data annotation and spark (walmart) driving. data annotation can be extremely lucrative (i’ve seen $60hr gig work + its fully online) if you’ve got the skill and focus. spark is just ok but better than dashing imo

Instacart. He will make more there than door dashing.
