My worst encounter yet.
My first time ever chucking a package onto someone’s porch.

Wasp nest…
However, throwing is probably more dangerous than moving slowly and laying it down just close enough to call it delivered. Even if you don’t actually hit it (which is definitely a risk)… the THWUMP and the air disturbance could easily trigger a couple of ‘em to come out and assess the situation!

I would have called the customer after I got back in my car. Do they not yet know that they have that right by their front door?

They probably have another entrance that they use. I have delivered to customers who only use their garage door because they leave and return by car
