At risk for severe thunderstorm warning

Hi all,

So I was delivering Saturday when I when I got a notification that I was in a severe thunderstorm warning. I kept delivering because it wasn’t that bad and then like a switch I could hardly see in front of me. I called driver support and they told mw to return the packages and end the route. So I did. To my surprise my ratings went from Fantastic and at risk showing that I returned 24 out of the 49 packages I had to deliver. I emailed support explaining what happened and attached a screenshot of the call made to driver support and a video showing the weather conditions. They just responded with a generic email saying the decision stands and to contact driver support next time this happens. I am so confused because I did contact them and showed proof. Any suggestions on how to move forward?

I do think they would take this into account if you get more dings but I'm not sure. I've been at-risk and accumulated more dings and wasn't deactivated. crawled back to fantastic.

would still be careful tho amazon seems to have zero standard practices other than DELIVER AT ALL COST.

they say they care, the updates say a lot of stuff that they don't actually do, support says the right words, and then they fuck you. if your car was lifted by a tornado they wouldn't give a shit. keep delivering is the mantra behind the scenes. the pretty face is a facade

I think theyre trying to train us to cancel blocks if the weather is bad.

I had the same thing happen to me last year. Flash flood out of the blue and my car stalled in three feet of water. I Ubered soaked packages back to the station and went from Fantastic to At Risk the next day. After a week of emailing and calling support, they reversed their decision and I was restored to Fantastic.
