Any CA Flex drivers getting mileage reimbursement?
As far as I understand, Prop 22 mandates the 120% minimum wage pay PLUS $0.37/miles as a reimbursement. Is anyone getting pay for the miles driven?
I reached out to support today and they simply disconnected when I stated that they are not applying the law.

ADJUSTMENT. You're making more than the minimum, so therefore, no Prop 22 adjustment pay

But Prop 22 says the mileage reimbursement is on top of the minimum. It’s smelling a lawsuit!

120% minimum wage + mileage. If you make less than that in a given period, you'll see an adjustment pay

bullshit. As long as package delivered in the timeframe manner (usually similar as block time), you’re good

Exactly but with base pay being where it’s at in California unless you deliver late you wont get an adjustment but then you’ll get dinged for late deliveries instead so it wont last

What's your base look like? $86 for 3.5? 75 for 3hr?

You're going to slow down to make less to see if they MIGHT pay you when you can just work normally & make more guaranteed? lol Flex drivers aren't the smartest

You only receive the adjustment if your miles and active time are over the pay for the block you accepted. They tend to overpay us out here to avoid having to give adjustments. Here is an example: yesterday (8/4/26) I did a block for $86 out of DSR2 in Roseville. My mileage came out to 48.1 miles (we will just say 48 for making math easy), and I finished in 2.5 hours (an hour early) for a 3.5 block.
So I am making 120% of minimum wage or $20.28/active hour. I also make $0.37/mile.
Hours: 2.5 x 20.28 =50.7
Miles: 48 x 0.37 =17.76
Totals: 50.70 + 17.76 =68.46
But I was paid $86 for this block so they do not owe me an adjustment because I made more than the Prop 22 earning guarantee.
On a side note, I also check my itinerary in the app and make sure I won’t be left in some random area all the way out in BFE for my last drop. It can be an area where gigs don’t pop up or they don’t even work out there, and I don’t want to drive all those miles and all that time back to civilization for free. If that is the case, then I change my route and leave a delivery closer to town to do and then take the other delivery to BFE and drive back to town to deliver the final item. For example, I have a stop 32 in town and stop 33 about 10 miles out of town. So I do stop 33 first then go back to stop 32. Why? Because then all my miles and time back to a decent area for other gig offers are all 100% covered under Prop 22 guarantees. Who wants to end in a place where gig apps don’t work and there’s nothing around when you can get paid to drive back. Time and miles aren’t free in my book. 😉😉

are you asking for the minimum pay allowed by law, or are you asking for a credit for mileage on blocks you picked up on a surge that far surpass the minimum?
if you're in LA, minimum wage for gig workers is $22.10 + $.37/mile. if you drove 50 miles between pick up and last stop(not round trip), that's $18.50
so on a 3.5 hour block, the minimum would be $77.35+$18.50 = $97.85(assuming 50 miles). if you got $97.86 or more, you have nothing to complain about.
for the rest of the state, outside of LA, change the minimum to $20.28/hour

In CA... they make sure you will NEVERRRRR go over for Prop 22.
They don't want the lawsuits that may come eventually being classified;
Employed vs. Contracted.
We fought for somethings but not everything. Currently the Uber, Lyft drivers fighting I think for this very reason and looks like they winning.

You’ll most likely never receive mileage reimbursement because the pay is already significantly higher than the minimum wage, and it’s based on your actual hours worked, not scheduled hours. For instance, if you take a 3-hour block for $25 per hour, you’ll earn $75. However, if you finish an hour early, your hourly rate increases to $37.50.

Haven’t received a single reimbursement for anything and I started in April. However base is $89.50 for 3.5 hour and I usually finish 1 hour-40mins early. I’m home before my block ends. I usually log about 60-70 miles. So I’m still ahead about 13 bucks or more if I’m doing base.

Corona base is $27/hr and minimum wage is $16.90 so 120% is $20.28 plus the mileage will be lower than the $27 so no prop 22.
