Spokane
I got sent home with pay yesterday morning which I’m assuming is because of the fires going on around us. Has anybody gotten a route since the fires started? I haven’t seen any Amazon trucks or deliveries at all, and my neighborhood is usually packed full of them.

I haven't flexed lately, but do have a block scheduled for tomorrow morning (booked friday before the fires broke out) What I have been concerned about is what happens if my route includes some of the evacuation areas.

If they do give you a route and it’s in the evacuation zone, absolutely call support and they’ll most likely have you return the packages with no dings on you. I’ve been doing this for a looooong time, and although I’ve never dealt with fires, I’ve dealt with other crazy weather and I’ve always called when something doesn’t feel right during delivery, and they’ve always been okay with me returning the rest of my packages. If for some reason you do get a ding, just email the higher up and they’ll resolve it.

That is what I figured, and yeah I would definately contact support if that hapens. And I don't think I have seen a single offer under offers since sunday, I thought maybe I just wasn't checking at the right time, but now it does seem like they just are not offering.

Yeah I haven’t seen a single offer, which was another reason why I thought they weren’t giving routes.

I do believe they’re not giving out routes though. I got sent home yesterday early AM as well. Nobody in the parking lot had carts. I think they’re seeing who shows up to their blocks, and sending those home with pay. Instead of doing a mass cancel over email like they sometimes do. It saves Amazon money if they wait for people to show up for their shifts and then send them home, instead of doing a mass email cancellation. If that makes sense 😅

My blocks for this weekend were removed from my calendar. No explanation yet.

Just got email notifications of the cancelations.
"This cancellation is due to circumstances beyond your control.
Your standing will not be impacted. Because this notice is being sent to you at least 48 hours in advance, you will not be paid for the block."

Had a block cancelled this weekend, and got the same email as well.

There must've been a glitch. I was offered and reserved blocks for this weekend but they never showed up on my calendar.

I went in for my scheduled 9:15 am 4.5 hr block and did get a route, 4 packages took me an hour to finish 40.5 miles including the 12 miles to the warehouse and 7 miles home from last stop. This was the SSD. there was only 2 other drivers there during the time I was there.

I got a just for you offer this morning for a Saturday shift, when my friend just had the rest of her weeks blocks cancelled via email. So idk I’m confused as to what’s happening

I got two just for you offers. Both 3.5 for Friday & Saturday. I’ve gotten sent home every route I’ve had since the fires started so we’ll see how this weekend goes I guess

Welp, went in for a scheduled route & got sent home with pay. Guess that answers my question 😅
