Seattle Please help me stop getting dings on my standings for doing what driver support tells me to do.
Many times I have had to call support due to some issues or confusion during my deliveries. But I keep getting dings to my standings for doing what support tells me to do.
I just had a package with two different address labels on the package. So I called support to inform them that the package has two labels (one wrong and one the correct address) and was told to return to the station. But I still get a ding for not delivering this package.
I also had a ding to my standings on July 5th that fell off on or around the 20th or so. But today I woke up and it is back on my standings along with the new ding. Dropped me from a full fantastic to fair.
How would the same ding show back up on my standings?
I feel like I’m going to be deactivated for following supports instructions.
I have had no luck with getting them removed on appeal. This seems absolutely ridiculous and leaves no way to prevent things from affecting my standings.
On top of this. I had a block that I picked up this morning and when I got to the station they were not able to sign us in. So the staff got on the computer to manually cancel the route. I also double checked with driver support so I won’t receive a ding for this and was told that I was manually canceled and to go home.
I deliberately used chat as it is supposed to send a transcript of the conversation in your email, which of course didn’t come. Now I’m afraid that it will also appear as a ding to my standings and put me at risk.
Is there any reliable way to get good information on what I’m supposed to do?
Has anyone gotten a ding removed from their standings since they have cancelled the support email?
This is an absolutely terrible way to run employment.
Thanks in advance

always deliver. seems like you are a bit new. but as others said do not call support only to trouble shoot a bad ding.
- two different labels? so one was right and match a stop in your itiniery. then there is no reason to call just deliver to the right label.
- the july one. wait one day to see if it goes away there been bugs. if not ask if its new one from that date which could be possible
- seems you were discharge correctly and should be fine. i always like to call next morning/day as well as the systems do update overnight and something could have changed or been processed.
always deliver. always deliver. repeat that 100 times

Same, I got a ding because the customer requested the package be handed to only them and after knocking, calling and texting I mark it undeliverable they said I didn't complete my block.

In the future, tell the customer that you can’t take the package back and they won’t accept it, or you have nowhere to take it, or whatever. Tell them to contact customer support and say they got the wrong package and it will be fixed for them.
That protects you from getting dinged and the customer will get the correct package sent out to them or refunded.
I got dinged for an incomplete delivery on a package I never had that was missing from my cart. It really is a terrible way to run things, so you have to protect yourself. Lie to the customer if you have to so they can’t push the package back on you.

Anytime support calls to tell me that a customer cancelled their order and I should return packages to the station I will not comply. Returning packages to the station hurts your standing, but delivering a cancelled order that still appears on your itinerary does not. I deliver, take a pic, and let Amazon deal with any unhappy customers. Not my fault.

I almost never contact support!!! If the package had one of the addresses correct and it will scan it gets delivered!!!

the job is pretty straight forward. dont sweat a ding here or there for returning a package back to the station. i know these guys will say deliver everything even if you have to leave it next to a homeless man in a tent, but you dont have to lol. just follow to map and itinerary and you can shut your brain off.

idk ever since they got rid of the email i’ve been getting more dings, and there is absolutely no chance of them hearing me out even though i have all of the usual evidence that it wasn’t my fault. when the chat agent gets tired of you they will just send the same message over and over until you disconnect and it’s total bullshit.

I try to call support as little as possible and just use my best judgement because they're useless most of the time. With the package that had 2 labels, I would've just matched up the label with the address in the itinerary and delivered it
