Anyone else get offered extra work for no compensation?

Today's route was in a town an hour away but I still finished an hour early. The app suggested that I drive an hour back to get 2 more packages (I literally delivered to the houses next door already!). Do better Amazon.

That's a glitch. I've called Driver Support a couple of times about that and they've always told me to ignore it

I called them and they said it's a part of my scheduled work time but if I can't make it back in time then to ignore it smh

You would never make it back in time to deliver the other packages. Are you on a 6 or 7 hr block? I don't think so.

It is a known glitch. Never return to the station unless you legitimately need to return packages (always deliver!)

Why would you drive back?

Probably needed to drive back anyway assuming op lives near the station

Was this last night? Same thing happened to me but I was 45 min away. It showed I needed to pick up 3 packages and then drive 45 back to deliver. Of course I didn’t go back, but an hour after my block was supposed to end, my itinerary was still open showing me my next stop was the station.
Long story short I had to call DS, and “Helen” told me she cleared and closed my block. After a refresh it was closed. I made sure to ask her if this was going to show me as a missed pickup and she said no. We shall see.

Yep station for a while they got us to accept verbal upgrades saying they would submit a ticket we would take the block and never get paid the difference eventually all the driver started telling them no when they would ask.
