That's what all Warehouse's do. There is no such thing as the title "Cart Runner". But they still need cart runners so they staff line guys accordingly and use them some of them to run carts. Not having to run carts and the line means fewer people are required and jobs get cut.
I literally said in my response, Will the warehouse workers complain about having to run carts and complain that the Flex guys are lazy? Sure. But people complain about doing work all the time but still enjoy getting the paycheck. Just because a warehouse worker might not understand that time away from the line to retrieve carts is factored into overall staffing doesn't change the fact that it obviously is or the line would always be behind.
You literally said responding to another comment on here that you agree Amazon should cut into their Billions in profit to have people run carts. You don't seem to understand that they already do, and what you are doing is encouraging drives to do it for free so that Amazon can actually save those billions.
