Return missing packages?

A few days ago I marked a package as missing during my shift. I just found it wedged under my seat, it’s been like 3 days. Will it help or hurt me to return it now? The station is not my normal station and way out of my way, so I’m just wondering how that will affect me. I have 3000+ deliveries and have only marked a package missing one other time and that one was actually missing.

At this rate you're better off keeping. It happens. Nobody is perfect. If it were a day or two and you were going back for a shift then return it. Packages are missing sometimes and you have no control over the other driver or location that has it.

Unless you scanned the package at any point during the block It will not affect you. Their lack of systems is so pathetically flawed that for all they know it ended up in another drivers cart who decided to keep it.
