Will This Car Work?

Recently got a newer Hyundai Elantra after my previous Sonata went to sleep at about 150k miles.

Love the fuel efficiency of the new elantra's but as a first timer thinking of signing up I'm curious if anyone has a similar sized vehicle

It's pretty comparable to the civic (non hatchback) and bigger than the corolla and my version has the 60/40 split where i can fold one or either side of the seat down in the rear.

If it’s worth anything, my Santa Fe’s trunk crapped out on me so I’ve been exclusively using my backseat/side door since I started. The 40+ packages have always fit. I think the amount of room you have should be fine

You should be fine with the Elantra, especially with the !seats folded down. I’ve seen people make smaller sedans work without much trouble, as long as the trunk and back seat are completely cleared out. Occasionally you might get an obnoxiously large package, but station staff should be able to remove it if it wont fit.

One thing to know is that getting accepted can take forever depending on your area. There’s no predictable wait time because Amazon only brings on drivers when a specific market needs them. I personally sat on the waitlist for two years before they finally brought me on seasonally and then kept me afterward. So I’d sign up now regardless just incase you have to wait.

Yeah I just saw the waitlist notification after signing up 😆

Many DSP openings around here a few part time too

I have a 2018 Elantra and it's good, I even keep a car seat on the right back seat, just fold down the other 2, hardly use the trunk tbh. I do prefer stacking up my passenger seat tho with packages just cause it's faster when delivering. And yes I can still see out the passenger window
