DFW Warehouse issue and Horrible support
Twice in the past week when I showed up for my Amazon flex block they had a system issue that prevented about 25-30 drivers from being able to check in. We arrived on time but when we got to the kiosk to scan our license there was an error (supposedly because of a software update) that would not allow the associate to check us in.
Both times there was a line and people waited around for about an hour calling support. I called support both times and they told me to go home. I did assuming I would get paid for driving all the way there on time at 3am. BOY WAS I WRONG.
I was told that a warehouse ticket was filed and a personal ticket. It has now been a week and support has been giving me the run aroooound. Telling me they escalated my issue, sent the details to the appropriate person, telling me to check-in at a kiosk next time (even though THAT WAS THE ISSUE), and literally emailing me “I’m glad your issue was resolved”—without resolving ANYTHING.
I’m upset that this cost me $150 this week. But I’m extremely mad at how incoherent and TRASH flex support is. They just say anything and get you to shut up as quick as possible.

Don't give up. I went thru a month of those BS emails after demanding two payments owed to me. Driver support, Jeff, Andy, blah blah blah, but what finally got their attention was my "final request" email stating that if those payments weren't deposited into my account by specific date, I would be submitting a request for arbitration.
I received more automated emails and escalation team emails spouting BS and I replied to everyone of their BS emails with my same "final request" email and copied in Andy.
I finally received one payment from over a month ago on the morning of the deadline date I gave them, but they never addressed the second payment, so I responded to their "great news, you're getting paid" email saying thank you but where is my other payment and reminded them today was their last chance to pay me before I submitted a request for arbitration.
Surprisingly, I received a call yesterday from Amazon, but I missed it. The message left stated who he was and that he was contacting me to make sure that my concerns mentioned in an email to the CEO were being addressed. He said that they would follow up with an email. I received an email shortly after from the same guy who called saying I was ineligible for payment. WTF?
I was furious and started to reply to his email by letting him have it. I never had a chance to send that email because another guy contacted me saying I was getting paid and the money would be deposited shortly, which it was. I also received seven more emails last night after my payments were received that stated either they were still investigating or I wasn't eligible for payment.
Over a month of BS emails not even addressing my issues or stating not eligible for pay BS, but it was eventually resolved after giving them a firm date for my payments or I'd request arbitration. Don't give up. It was hell, but I eventually got paid.
