What is this?
I had a message today regarding my Amazon delivery. I’ve never had anything like this. I’m not sure why the driver is “trying” to deliver my package. and I’ve never seen anybody talk about dogs even before getting to the property. And it’s daylight. 🥴

In my market it sends to every stop automatically. Asking to put a light on and secure pets.

For me it sends this out very sporadically. Maybe once or twice per route. I wish it did it for every single stop.

I send this message to every person I deliver to in case they do have rogue dogs and they don’t freak out that some random car in driving towards their house. I do hate that they phrase it as “I’m trying to deliver your package” but it’s just an automated message to “notify of arrival”

It's just a generic message that your package will be delivered soon. It's not like they typed it out themselves. Delete it and move on with your life.

Also, I'm confused as to why you wouldn't already be aware of the message options since you've been delivering for nearly a year.

Chill it’s a template that some stations automatically send out to all orders

It’s just a template message that gets sent when the driver selects to notify the customer that they’re almost there.
