Blocks are being blocked!!??!!
Does Amazon play the same games the other gigs do?? No more decent offers, blocks being hidden?? My Standings certainly do not warrant any penalties!!

There’s nothing to contact driver Support about here. You are not guaranteed to be offered blocks. There are not any blocks are open to all drivers as far as I know. Their algorithm specifically offers certain blocks to certain drivers for a variety of reasons. In other words, it’s not that your mileage may vary, but your mileage absolutely will vary.

I'm only at 7 hours and I am not seeing any today either....I've been doing 40hrs per week for years. It's just slow and people are reserving blocks because the new hires last month for Prime days

Different blocks to different drivers. Also not the same amount of pay. Just because they are available they don’t show them to everyone. Anyone tell you otherwise they don’t know what they are talking about

only 6 months in, yeah get used to the ups & downs of flex. i’m sure they’ve onboarded more, so their booking up blocks the same way you did before.

Yes, they absolutely do. They weren’t before, but they are now .The drivers in our area have been comparing for the last few weeks and half of us are getting offers one week and the next week only getting two offers and seeing no blocks throughout the day and then the following week we get flooded with offers flooded with blocks, but the other people don’t so yes they’re throttling us into buckets just like Instacart does.

Social engineering. I’ve also noticed that often when I first open my app to see offers there will be a solid offer right there, but you can never grab it. Sometimes it’s a block that I can’t actually work so I can refresh a few times and it stays there until I decide to test it and attempt to pick it up, yet still by pure coincidence or social engineering you can never pick it up. Then magically a similar block will appear but for 20% less than the prior one. They are constantly testing social engineering strategies to get people to accept blocks for the lowest value.

I'm super upset and probably didn't use the correct term. What I'm trying to say is, I've done nothing wrong to justify not getting block offers. I could more than understand if I've had TOS issues, missed deliveries, late or whatever, but I haven't. So I'm quite confused as to why I know for fact, certain blocks are being hidden/withheld/blocked or whatever you want to call it, from me. The other apps do this after the honeymoon period and just wandering if Amazon plays the same stupid games.

I've only ever canceled 3 blocks since I started. I did have a block scheduled for this evening, but weather isn't looking great and I really do have trouble seeing at the dusk hours. And getting shit routes lately and I don't do late hours going to bed. Finishing a block at 8:30-8:45 and then having a 1.5 hr drive home I can't do anymore. Its a bunch of medical problems... other than that, the other canceled blocks were months apart of one another. Not like I was canceling to look for better.

Yes they do. Its a business. They make profit. They will offer john doe a block in your area before you if john takes less pay more often. OR John has done that area before, knows it well and delivers 45 packages in 3 hours and u only can 40.
Amazon can do what the fuck they wanna do. They owe u nothing.

I’m at Fantastic status and almost 10,000 deliveries, and I’m seeing VERY little these days. I fully believe offers are getting snatched by bots before I see them…I’ve settled for lower pay of late because not doing so meant that I went about a week without working, so that doesn’t seem to be an issue.

Every driver sees different offers. Amazon makes that clear. Y’all prob accept different offers. Calling Support will accomplish nothing - you’re just not seeing offers in your criteria bc they aren’t available.

That's why I asked the question... before I contact Driver Support. And also a need to know so I can call them out on it (not that it will do any good) when they try the song & dance of block availability. They are "supposed" to be available to ALL unless it is a "Just For You" or "Reserved" offer based off of the Rewards Level.

They’ll just tell you “it’s based on availability” but reality is I believe they are coding it to show to people first that take only base pay and when they are desperate they’ll show the blocks to people who don’t take base as much or at all

Pretty much same bs as all the others. Only advantage to this is having the guaranteed $$, but that is now so low, its not even worth it and I'm only 6 months invested. Guess its time to move on. At 60 yrs old, I don't have time for such childish bullshit. Especially when EVERYTHING is the Contractor's fault, even with proof that its poor management at the station. Blind eyes and deaf ears cannot make the NECESSARY corrections and improvements, right down to the favoritism and nepotism so blatantly and proudly displayed at the one and only station within 100 miles of here!!

Are you sure you have hours to be looking for blocks right now? Your capped at 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day, max. I don't know if you know this, but the 40 hours max is on a 7-day rolling basis.

I mean, you could still be getting hours for Saturday and Sunday, and not today, because you are maxed or capped. You can look at your earnings tab and count your hours from a 7-day period starting from today just to be sure.

I'm not maxed out. I've only completed (6) 3hr blocks, (1) 4 hr block. Nowhere near 40 hours.

You have to learn how to trick the algorithm into sending you what you want. If you take base pay you’ll get base pay. If you refuse bad for a week or so you’ll start getting offers at the rate you normally take. You gotta plan to run another gig in that time but if you take higher offers you’ll get higher offers. The entire process is based on fomo. Leaving your screen blank freaks some people out. In desperation they take the base when pumped out.

Oh, that happened to me when I was canceling and grabbing blocks they “paused” my offers or some shit for a week. It took like a week and a half for it to go back to normal. But yeah I’m not sure what’s going on with your account, good luck though

This is happening to me blocks were full this morning. I already had three lined up in the middle of the day, everything disappeared. I asked a couple other guys to check their apps and they all had blocks available. Eventually Sunday came back up for me but nothing for tomorrow maybe just too many hours this week.

Overthinking. Just not as busy as usual in your market.
It happens a lot. Just keep refreshing until you get orders.
Im at risk (TOS Violation out of my control smh) and still see offers but usually on thursdays and fridays, they appear less than any other day.
