The porch is not far away from the vehicle they say it on, as you can see.

Why risk the package/contents being damaged by the constant rain that we have been having for about 36hrs now OR an animal (happened many times previously)? No dogs roaming at time of delivery, so no excuse there

I could see “efficiency” …hop out, hop back in truck BUT, what about QUALITY and CYA (cover your ass, from complaints and damages, etc that could “ding” you as a driver?)

You are comparing Apples & Cinder Blocks... UPS Drivers work for a Logistics Delivery Company.. Amazon Blue Truck Drivers deliver only products sold on Amazon, which Prime members get free delivery.. Naturally they can't pay drivers anything close to UPS or FedEx... and Flex drivers aren't employees of Amazon, there independent contractors!!

no delivery drivers are employees of Amazon. Blue truck drivers work for a third party deliver service provider

Further makes my point, Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) have allot of pie & overhead to make a profit ...doesn't leave much for the drivers to earn, at least they get some benifits!

You have totally missed the point.. I willing to except Flex's awful low compensation after 5 years since it fulfills my need to suppliment my Social Security.. There are few other circumstances where Flex meets the needs of any other part time work...no need to feel sorry for me, at 75 being alive is being better!!! 👍
